惟覺肢體中別有一法、與我心之法戰、而擄我以從於肢體中罪之法、

然吾又見一法、寓吾肢體之中、與吾心之法、恆相對敵、而囚吾於肢體之罪孽法中。

but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me.

But I see another law working in me. It fights against the law of my mind. It makes me a prisoner of the law of sin. That law controls me.

but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.

But there is another power within me that is at war with my mind. This power makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me.

but I see a different law in the parts of my body, waging war against the law of my mind and taking me prisoner to the law of sin in the parts of my body.

因為肉體起貪慾心、跟靈對抗，靈也跟肉體對抗。這兩個相敵對着，以致你們所願的、你們作不出。

你們中間爭戰從哪兒來，鬥毆從哪兒來呢？豈不是從那在你們肢體中交戰的宴樂慾而來的麼？

因為生命之靈之律在基督耶穌裏使我得自由、脫離了罪之律、即死之律。

親愛的，我勸你們做僑民做寄居的、要禁戒那對你們的靈魂交戰的肉體私慾；

感謝上帝，藉着我們的主耶穌基督、就能脫離了。這樣看來，論我自己、我是心思上給上帝之律做奴僕，而肉體上給罪之律做奴僕的。

我因了你們肉體之軟弱、且照人類的說法來講：你們從前怎樣將你們的肢體獻給污穢和不法做奴僕、以至於不法，如今也當怎樣將你們的肢體獻給義做奴僕、以至於聖化。

求你領我出被囚之地，我好稱讚你的名；因為義人正眼巴巴地等着你以厚恩待我。

所以我見得有個律：就是我願意行善的時候，總有惡和我同在。

也不可將你們的肢體獻給罪、做不義的工具。卻要將自己獻給上帝，像從死人中起來而活着，將你們的肢體獻給上帝、做義的工具；

地上實在沒有一個義人、時常行善而未嘗犯罪的。

因為我們從前在肉體裏的時候，那因律法而生的罪之惡情、運用着動力於我們的肢體中，以致給死結果子。

你們跟罪對鬥、還沒有抵抗到流血呢。

我們曉得、律法是屬靈的；我卻是屬肉的，是賣在罪之下做奴僕的。

能用柔和矯正對抗的人。或者上帝給他們悔改的心，得以認識真理；你們雖曾被魔鬼活捉了去，以隨從他的意思，也能醒悟過來、脫離魔鬼的網羅。

但是你呢、屬上帝的人哪，你要逃避這些事：你要追求正義、敬虔、忠信、仁愛、堅忍、柔和之情。信仰上的美好競鬥、你要奮力鬥勝，將永生把握住。你承認了那美好的信認在許多見證人面前時，就是蒙了召而得永生的。

我們在許多事上都能有失錯；若有人在話語上沒有失錯，他就是完全的人，竟能勒制全身的。
