Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband— how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about you. I’ve heard about everything you have done for your mother- in- law since your husband died. I know that you left your father and mother. I know that you left your country. You came to live with people you didn’t know before.

But Boaz answered her,“ All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

“ Yes, I know,” Boaz replied.“ But I also know about everything you have done for your mother in law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and your native land, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

Boaz replied to her,“ All that you have done for your mother in law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me, and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and came to a people that you did not previously know.

And Boaz answered and said to her,“ It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been showed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother- in- law since the death of thy husband; and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people that thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and the land of your birth, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and[ how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz replied to her,“ I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband– how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.

Boaz answered her,“ I have been told all about what you have done for your mother- in- law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

耶稣说：“我实在告诉你们，任何人为了上帝的国而撇下房屋、妻子、弟兄、父母或儿女，今世必得百倍的奖赏，来世必得永生。”

“同样，你们若不撇下一切，就不能做我的门徒。

她们又放声大哭，俄珥巴就亲吻婆婆，向她道别。然而，路得却依依不舍，不肯离去。拿俄米说：“你看，你嫂嫂已经回她家乡和她拜的神明那里去了，你也跟着嫂嫂回去吧！”路得说：“不要逼我撇你而去。你往哪里去，我也要往哪里去；你住在哪里，我也要住在哪里；你的同胞就是我的同胞，你的上帝就是我的上帝；你死在哪里，我也死在哪里、葬在哪里。只有死才能把我们分开。否则，愿耶和华重重地惩罚我！”拿俄米见路得坚决要跟她走，就不再劝阻她了。于是，二人便一同回到伯利恒。她们进了伯利恒，全城惊动。妇女们问：“这不是拿俄米吗？”拿俄米对她们说：“不要再叫我拿俄米了，叫我玛拉吧！因为全能者叫我过得好苦啊！我曾满满地离开这里，现在耶和华却使我空空地回来。既然耶和华叫我受苦，全能者使我遭遇不幸，为何还叫我拿俄米呢？”拿俄米带着她的儿媳妇——摩押女子路得从摩押回到了伯利恒，那时正是开始收割大麦的季节。

女子啊，要侧耳倾听：不要再挂念家乡的父老，

摩西长大成人后，凭信心拒绝做法老之女的儿子，宁愿与上帝的子民一同受苦，也不肯享受一时的罪中之乐。在他眼中，为基督所受的凌辱远比埃及的财富更有价值，因为他盼望的是将来的赏赐。

于是他们把船靠岸后，撇下一切跟从了耶稣。

要把一切交托给耶和华，信靠祂，祂必帮助你，使你的公义如晨光照耀，你的仁义如日中天。

亚伯拉罕因为有信心，听到上帝的呼召后，就遵命前往他将要承受为产业的地方，但他出发的时候还不知道自己要去哪里。他凭信心像异乡人一样寄居在上帝应许给他的地方。他住在帐篷里，与同受一个应许的以撒和雅各一样。

说‘你的罪得到赦免了’容易呢，还是说‘你起来行走’容易呢？

拿俄米说：“我的女儿啊，回娘家去吧！为什么要跟我去呢？难道我还能生儿子做你们的丈夫吗？
