离开的时候，波阿斯对她说：“把你的外衣拿来铺开。”路得就照做了。他用路得的外衣包了六簸箕大麦，帮她扛在肩上，她便回城了。

他又说：“拿你所披的外衣来，把它打开。”她打开了，他就量了六簸箕大麦，放在她的肩上。路得就进城去。

波阿斯又说：“把你身上的披肩拿来，抓好它。”路得把披肩抓好，波阿斯就量给她六簸箕大麦，放在她的肩上；然后路得就进城去了。

又曰、持所衣之外衣、既持之、則量麰麥六量、置諸其肩、乃入於邑、

又曰、以所衣之外衣承之、既承、則量麰麥六斗、使負入邑。

又曰、爾以所披之外衣、持而展之、路得將衣持而展之、遂量麰麥六量、所言量即量器也未詳其大小下同助路得負之、遂入邑、

He also said,“ Bring me the shawl you are wearing and hold it out.” When she did so, he poured into it six measures of barley and placed the bundle on her. Then he went back to town.

He said to Ruth,“ Bring me the coat you have around you. Hold it out.” So she did. He poured more than fifty pounds of barley into it and helped her pick it up. Then he went back to town.

And he said,“ Bring the garment you are wearing and hold it out.” So she held it, and he measured out six measures of barley and put it on her. Then she went into the city.

Then Boaz said to her,“ Bring your cloak and spread it out.” He measured six scoops of barley into the cloak and placed it on her back. Then he returned to the town.

And he told Ruth,“ Bring the shawl you’re wearing and hold it out.” When she held it out, he shoveled six measures of barley into her shawl, and she went into the town.

Again he said,“ Give me the shawl that is on you and hold it.” So she held it, and he measured six measures of barley and laid it on her. Then she went into the city.

Also he said,“ Bring the shawl that is on you and hold it.” And when she held it, he measured six ephahs of barley, and laid it on her. Then she went into the city.

And he said, Bring the mantle that is upon thee, and hold it; and she held it; and he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her: and he went into the city.

And he told Ruth,“ Bring the shawl you’re wearing and hold it out.” When she held it out, he shoveled six measures of barley into her shawl, and she went into the town.

Also he said, Bring the vail that[ thou hast] upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six[ measures] of barley, and laid[ it] on her: and she went into the city.

Then he said,“ Hold out the shawl you are wearing and grip it tightly.” As she held it tightly, he measured out about sixty pounds of barley into the shawl and put it on her shoulders. Then he went into town,

He said,“ Bring the mantle that is on you, and hold it.” She held it; and he measured six measures of barley, and laid it on her; then he went into the city.

But the noble make noble plans, and by noble deeds they stand. (niv)

Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. (niv)
