我的良人哪！願你快來，像羚羊或小鹿，在香草山上！

我的良人啊！等到天起涼風，日影消逝的時候，願你歸來，好像崎嶇山上的羚羊或是小鹿。

以賽亞說這些話，是因為看見了他的榮耀，就指著他說的。

論到這救恩，那預言你們要得恩典的眾先知，都尋求考察過，就是把他們心裡基督的靈所預先見證，關於基督要受苦難後來得榮耀，是在甚麼時候和怎樣的情況加以考察。他們蒙了啟示，為這些事效力，並不是為自己，而是為你們。現在，藉著傳福音給你們的人，靠著從天上差來的聖靈，把這些事傳給了你們；甚至天使也很想詳細察看這些事。

你們研究聖經，因為你們認為聖經中有永生，其實為我作證的就是這聖經，

兩個人就把在路上的事，和擘餅的時候他們怎樣認出耶穌來的事，都述說了一遍。

你們若信摩西，也必信我，因為他所寫的書曾論及我。

這些不過是將來的事的影子，那真體卻是屬於基督的。

律法既然是以後要來的美好事物的影子，不是本體的真象，就不能憑著每年獻同樣的祭品，使那些進前來的人得到完全。

不像摩西那樣，把帕子蒙在臉上，使以色列人看不見那短暫的榮光的結局。但是他們的心思遲鈍，因為直到今日，他們誦讀舊約的時候，這帕子仍然存在，沒有揭開，唯有在基督裡才能把這帕子廢掉。可是直到今日，他們每逢誦讀摩西的書的時候，這帕子還蓋在他們的心上。但他們甚麼時候歸向主，這帕子就甚麼時候除掉了。主就是那靈；主的靈在哪裡，哪裡就有自由。我們眾人臉上的帕子既然已經揭開，反映主的榮光（“反映主的榮光”或譯：“對著鏡子看見主的榮光”），就變成主那樣的形象，大有榮光。這是主所作成的，他就是那靈。

基督就是我們的和平：他使雙方合而為一，拆毀了隔在中間的牆，就是以自己的身體除掉雙方的仇恨，並且廢掉了律法的規條，使兩者在他裡面成為一個新人，這樣就締造了和平。

洗魯雅的三個兒子約押、亞比篩和亞撒黑都在那裡。亞撒黑的腿輕快如野地的羚羊一般。

我們現在是對著鏡子觀看，模糊不清，到那時就要面對面了。我現在所知道的只是一部分，到那時就完全知道了，好像主完全知道我一樣。

聖靈藉著這事表明，當第一進會幕存在的時候，進入至聖所的路，還沒有顯明出來。這第一進會幕是現今的時代的預表，其實所獻的禮物和祭品，都不能使敬拜的人在良心上得到完全。

所以，弟兄們！我們憑著耶穌的血，可以坦然無懼地進入至聖所。這進入的路，是他給我們開闢的，是一條通過幔子、又新又活的路，這幔子就是他的身體。

我就俯伏在天使腳前要拜他。但他對我說：“千萬不可以這樣！我和你，以及你那些為耶穌作見證的弟兄，都是同作僕人的。你應當敬拜神！因為預言的精義，就是耶穌的見證。”
