Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.

As soon as I had passed by them I found the one my heart loves. I threw my arms around him and didn’t let him go until I had brought him to my mother’s house. I took him to my mother’s room.

但錫安說：「耶和華撇棄了我，主把我忘了。」耶和華說：「母親豈能忘記自己吃奶的嬰兒，不憐憫自己親生的孩子？就算有母親忘記，我也不會忘記你。看啊，我已經把你銘刻在我的手掌上，你的牆垣在我的看顧之下。你的兒女必很快回來，毀滅和破壞你的必離你而去。舉目四下看看吧，你的兒女正聚集到你這裡。我憑我的永恆起誓，你必把他們作為飾物戴在身上，如新娘一樣用他們妝扮自己。這是耶和華說的。

那人說：「天亮了，讓我走吧！」但雅各說：「你不祝福我，我就不讓你走。」

雅各在母胎之中曾抓住哥哥的腳跟，壯年之時曾跟上帝角力。他跟天使角力得勝，向天使哭求福分。他在伯特利遇見祂，在那裡與祂說話——

耶和華說：「不生育、未生養的婦人啊，要歡唱；未曾生產的女子啊，要高歌、歡呼；因為沒有丈夫的比有丈夫的兒女更多。要擴大你的帳篷，儘量拉寬帳篷的幔子，放長繩子，釘牢橛子。因為你要向左右擴展，你的後裔要統治列國，使荒涼的城邑重新有人居住。

「祈求，就會給你們；尋找，就會尋見；叩門，就會給你們開門。

要趁著還可以找到耶和華的時候尋找祂，趁祂還在附近的時候求告祂。願邪惡的人停止作惡，不義的人除掉惡念。願他們歸向耶和華，祂必憐憫他們；願他們歸向我們的上帝，祂必仁慈地赦免他們。

不知不覺，我的心把我帶到我尊長的車上。

你的頭如同迦密山，你的秀髮好像紫黑色的緞子，君王的心被你的縷縷青絲繫住。

忽然，耶穌迎面而來，對她們說：「願你們平安！」她們就上前抱住祂的腳敬拜祂。

耶和華必賜福給那些等候和尋求祂的人，

那天上的耶路撒冷則是自由的，是我們的母親。

我沒有在隱秘處暗暗地說話，我沒有對雅各的後裔說，『你們找不到我。』我耶和華宣揚真理，傳講正義。

耶穌說：「瑪麗亞。」瑪麗亞立即轉過頭來用希伯來話對祂說：「拉波尼！」拉波尼的意思是老師。耶穌說：「不要拉著我，我還沒有升到父那裡。你先去找我的眾弟兄，告訴他們我要升天去見我的父，也是你們的父；去見我的上帝，也是你們的上帝。」

你們尋求我，就必尋見。只要你們全心尋求我，

我很快就要來了！你要持守你所擁有的，免得有人奪去你的冠冕。我要使得勝者在我上帝的殿中作棟樑，永不離開。我要將我上帝的名號和我上帝聖城的名號，就是從天上我上帝那裡降下來的新耶路撒冷和我自己的新名號，都刻在他上面。
