Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.

那人說：「天快亮了，讓我走吧！」雅各說：「你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。」

他在腹中抓住哥哥的腳跟，壯年的時候與神角力，他與天使角力，並且得勝。他曾哀哭，懇求施恩。在伯特利遇見耶和華，耶和華在那裏吩咐我們，

你這不懷孕、不生育的，要歡呼；你這未曾經過產難的，要歡呼，揚聲呼喊；因為被遺棄的婦人，比有丈夫的人兒女更多；這是耶和華說的。要擴張你帳幕之地，伸展你居所的幔子，不要縮回；要放長你的繩子，堅固你的橛子。因為你要向左向右開展，你的後裔必得列國為業，又使荒廢的城鎮有人居住。

「你們祈求，就給你們；尋找，就找到；叩門，就給你們開門。

當趁耶和華可尋找的時候尋找他，在他接近的時候求告他。惡人當離棄自己的道路，不義的人應除掉自己的意念。歸向耶和華，耶和華就必憐憫他；當歸向我們的神，因為他必廣行赦免。

不知不覺，我彷彿坐在我百姓高官的戰車中。

你的頭在你身上好像迦密山，你頭上的髮呈紫色，王被這髮綹繫住了。

忽然，耶穌迎上她們，說：「平安！」她們就上前抱住他的腳拜他。

凡等候耶和華，心裏尋求他的，耶和華必施恩給他。

但另一婦人就是在上的耶路撒冷，是自由的，她是我們的母親。

我不在隱密黑暗之地說話，也沒有對雅各的後裔說，『你們尋求我是徒然的』，我－耶和華所講的是公義，所說的是正直。」

耶穌對她說：「馬利亞。」馬利亞轉過身來，用希伯來話對他說：「拉波尼！」（「拉波尼」就是老師的意思。）耶穌對她說：「不要拉住我，因為我還沒有升上去見我的父。你到我弟兄那裏去告訴他們，我要升上去見我的父，也是你們的父，見我的神，也是你們的神。」

你們尋求我，若專心尋求我，就必尋見。

我必快來，你要持守你所有的，免得人奪去你的冠冕。得勝的，我要使他在我神的殿中作柱子，他必不再從那裏出去。我又要把我神的名和我神城的名－從天上我神那裏降下來的新耶路撒冷，和我的新名，都寫在他上面。
