那從曠野上來、靠在良人身旁的是誰呢？我在蘋果樹下喚醒你，你母親在那裡懷你養你，為你受生產之苦。

我的良人靠在我懷中，如同一袋沒藥。

我要登上沒藥山和乳香岡，直到晚風吹起、日影消逝。

你的美名如此芬芳，如同倒出來的香膏，難怪少女們都愛慕你。

我現在樣樣都有，豐富有餘。我從以巴弗提手上收到了你們送給我的禮物，已經充足了。這些饋贈是蒙上帝悅納的馨香祭物。

感謝上帝！祂常常在基督裡率領我們走在凱旋的行列中，又藉著我們到處散發那因認識基督而有的香氣。不論是在得救的人當中還是在滅亡的人當中，對上帝來說，我們都是基督的馨香之氣。對滅亡的人而言，這香氣是叫人死亡的香氣；對得救的人來說，這香氣卻是叫人得生命的香氣。誰能擔當這樣的重任呢？

祂拿過書卷後，四個活物和二十四位長老就俯伏在羔羊面前，各拿著豎琴和盛滿了香的金香爐。那些香就是眾聖徒的祈禱。

就起來為他開門；我的雙手滴下沒藥，甚至門閂也沾了我指頭滴下的沒藥。

看啊，我要行一件新事，這事現在就要發生，難道你們沒有察覺嗎？我要在曠野闢道路，在沙漠開江河。

耶和華對摩西說：「要取各種芬芳的香料，就是蘇合香、香螺、白松香和純乳香，分量相同，

那時，我要將我的靈澆灌我的奴僕和婢女，他們都要說預言。在天上，我要顯異兆；在地上，我要行神蹟，有血、有火、有濃煙。太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。這都要發生在主偉大榮耀的日子來臨以前。那時，凡求告主名的，都必得救。』

他們進了屋子，看見孩子和祂母親瑪麗亞，就俯伏在地上拜祂，並打開盛寶物的盒子獻上黃金、乳香和沒藥作禮物。

婦人則逃到曠野，在上帝為她預備的地方安度一千二百六十天。

你們既然和基督一同復活了，就應當追求天上的事，那裡有坐在上帝右邊的基督。你們要思想天上的事，而不是地上的事，

逃脫刀兵之災的以色列人必在曠野蒙恩，找到安息之所。這是耶和華說的。」

「你去告訴耶路撒冷人，『耶和華說，我記得你們年輕時對我充滿熱情，愛我如新娘愛新郎，跟隨我穿越曠野，穿越不毛之地。

在那些日子，我要將我的靈澆灌我的僕人和婢女。「我要在天上地下行奇事，你們將看見血、火和煙柱。太陽要變得昏暗，月亮要變得血紅。在耶和華偉大而可畏的日子來臨以前，這些事都會發生。

他的雙頰芬芳，猶如種滿香草的花圃。他的嘴唇好像百合花，滴下沒藥汁。

要記住這四十年來你們的上帝耶和華怎樣在曠野引領你們，祂磨煉你們、考驗你們，好知道你們的心意如何、肯不肯遵守祂的誡命。

但那婦人得到一對巨鷹的翅膀，使她能飛到曠野，去上帝為她預備的地方避難，在那裡被照顧三年半。

耶和華走在他們前面，白天用雲柱為他們指示道路，晚上用火柱照亮他們，這樣他們可以日夜趕路。白天的雲柱和晚上的火柱從不離開他們。

我的妹妹，我的新娘，你是緊鎖的園子，封閉的井，隱藏的泉源。你好像一個美麗的果園，結滿了石榴和各種上好的果子，也有鳳仙花、哪噠樹、哪噠和番紅花、菖蒲和肉桂、沒藥和沉香，以及一切上好的香料。
