『看吧，我必使耶路撒冷向四圍列族之民成為令人醉得天旋地轉的酒杯；當人圍困耶路撒冷時，猶大必被圍護。

「看哪，我必使耶路撒冷成為一只酒杯，讓四圍所有的民族都醉得搖搖晃晃！耶路撒冷被圍困的時候，猶大也將被圍困。

我將使耶路撒冷為四周諸民致眩之杯、耶路撒冷被圍時、猶大亦得其佑、

耶路撒冷被圍之時、我必使其居民與猶大全家為爵、俾列邦飲之、至於酩酊、

我必使耶路撒冷、向圍困耶路撒冷之列邦人、及其中之猶大人、若令人昏醉之酒杯、或作我必使耶路撒冷向圍困耶路撒冷之列國人如使人昏醉之酒杯圍困耶路撒冷時猶大人亦在彼

“ I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that sends all the surrounding peoples reeling. Judah will be besieged as well as Jerusalem.

“ Jerusalem will be like a cup in my hand. It will make all the surrounding nations drunk from the wine of my anger. Judah will be attacked by its enemies. So will Jerusalem.

“ Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah.

I will make Jerusalem like an intoxicating drink that makes the nearby nations stagger when they send their armies to besiege Jerusalem and Judah.

“ Look, I will make Jerusalem a cup that causes staggering for the peoples who surround the city. The siege against Jerusalem will also involve Judah.

“ Behold, I am going to make Jerusalem a cup that causes staggering to all the peoples around; and when the siege is against Jerusalem, it will also be against Judah.

“ Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of drunkenness to all the surrounding peoples, when they lay siege against Judah and Jerusalem.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling unto all the peoples round about, and upon Judah also shall it be in the siege against Jerusalem.

“ Look, I will make Jerusalem a cup that causes staggering for the peoples who surround the city. The siege against Jerusalem will also involve Judah.

Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of trembling unto all the people round about, when they shall be in the siege both against Judah[ and] against Jerusalem.

“ I am about to make Jerusalem a cup that brings dizziness to all the surrounding nations; indeed, Judah will also be included when Jerusalem is besieged.

“ Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of reeling to all the surrounding peoples, and it will also be on Judah in the siege against Jerusalem.

Judah too will fight at Jerusalem. The wealth of all the surrounding nations will be collected— great quantities of gold and silver and clothing. (niv)

In the hand of the Lord is a cup full of foaming wine mixed with spices; he pours it out, and all the wicked of the earth drink it down to its very dregs. (niv)

This is what your Sovereign Lord says, your God, who defends his people:“ See, I have taken out of your hand the cup that made you stagger; from that cup, the goblet of my wrath, you will never drink again.I will put it into the hands of your tormentors, who said to you,‘ Fall prostrate that we may walk on you.’ And you made your back like the ground, like a street to be walked on.” (niv)

Awake, awake! Rise up, Jerusalem, you who have drunk from the hand of the Lord the cup of his wrath, you who have drained to its dregs the goblet that makes people stagger. (niv)

Give back to her as she has given; pay her back double for what she has done. Pour her a double portion from her own cup. (niv)

I will make her officials and wise men drunk, her governors, officers and warriors as well; they will sleep forever and not awake,” declares the King, whose name is the Lord Almighty. (niv)

Why are we sitting here? Gather together! Let us flee to the fortified cities and perish there! For the Lord our God has doomed us to perish and given us poisoned water to drink, because we have sinned against him. (niv)

they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb. (niv)

So I took the cup from the Lord’s hand and made all the nations to whom he sent me drink it: (niv)

Babylon was a gold cup in the Lord’s hand; she made the whole earth drunk. The nations drank her wine; therefore they have now gone mad. (niv)

This is what the Lord says:“ If those who do not deserve to drink the cup must drink it, why should you go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, but must drink it. (niv)

You will be filled with shame instead of glory. Now it is your turn! Drink and let your nakedness be exposed! The cup from the Lord’s right hand is coming around to you, and disgrace will cover your glory. (niv)

This is what the Lord, the God of Israel, said to me:“ Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it. (niv)

The great city split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. God remembered Babylon the Great and gave her the cup filled with the wine of the fury of his wrath. (niv)
