“ On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity.

求你彻底洗涤我的罪孽，洁净我的罪；

第二天，约翰看见耶稣向他走来，就说：“看哪，神的羔羊，除去世人罪孽的！

你们有些人过去是这样，但是藉着主耶稣基督的名，藉着我们神的灵，你们已经被洗净了，被分别为圣了，被称为义了。

藉着水和血而来的那一位，就是耶稣基督，不仅藉着水，也藉着水和血；并且圣灵是做见证的那一位，因为圣灵就是真理。

长老中有一位问我，说：“这些身穿白袍的是谁？他们是从哪里来的？”我对他说：“我主啊，你是知道的。”他就对我说：“这些人都是从大患难中出来的。他们用羔羊的血洗净了自己的袍子，使它们洁白了。

实际上，如果山羊和公牛的血，以及母牛犊的灰，洒在那些污秽的人身上，能使他们分别为圣、肉身洁净，更何况基督的血呢！基督藉着永恒的圣灵，将自己毫无瑕疵地献给神，他的血难道不能洁净我们的良心脱离致死的行为，使我们事奉永生的神吗？

求你用牛膝草清洁我，我就洁净；求你洗涤我，我就比雪更洁白。

“洗涤自己，洁净自己吧，从我眼前除掉你们的恶行！当停止作恶，学习行善，寻求公正，指责欺压者，给孤儿伸冤，为寡妇辩屈！”耶和华说：“来吧，让我们彼此理论；你们的罪虽像朱红，必洁白如雪；虽赤如丹红，必白如羊毛。

从那信实的见证者、死人中首先复活的、地上众君王的元首耶稣基督，临到你们！他爱我们，用自己的血，把我们从我们的罪孽中释放出来，又使我们成为国度，做他父神的祭司。愿荣耀和权能都归于他，直到永永远远！阿们。

而是凭着那像羔羊一样毫无瑕疵、毫无玷污的基督宝血。

你们做丈夫的，要爱自己的妻子，就像基督也爱了教会，为她舍弃了自己。基督这么做，是要藉着话语，用水的洗涤而洁净教会，使她分别为圣，为要给自己预备一个荣耀的教会，没有污渍、皱纹或任何这类的事，却要她成为圣洁、毫无瑕疵。

不过有一个士兵用长矛刺入耶稣的肋旁，立刻有血和水流了出来。看见这事的那人做了见证——他的见证是真实的，并且他知道他所说的是真实的——这是为了要你们也信。

他拯救了我们；这不是本于我们所做的义行，而是照着他的怜悯，藉着重生的洗涤和圣灵的更新。神藉着我们的救主耶稣基督，将圣灵丰丰富富地倾注在我们身上，使我们藉着他的恩典被称为义，可以照着永恒生命的盼望成为继承人。
