I looked up again, and there before me were four chariots coming out from between two mountains— mountains of bronze.

I looked up again and saw four chariots. They were coming out from between two mountains. The mountains were made out of bronze.

Again I lifted my eyes and saw, and behold, four chariots came out from between two mountains. And the mountains were mountains of bronze.

Once more I looked, and this time I saw four chariots emerging from between two mountains of bronze.

The four horns that replaced the one that was broken off represent four kingdoms that will emerge from his nation but will not have the same power. (niv)

The angel answered me,“ These are the four spirits of heaven, going out from standing in the presence of the Lord of the whole world. (niv)

I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of his heart through all generations. (niv)

All the peoples of the earth are regarded as nothing. He does as he pleases with the powers of heaven and the peoples of the earth. No one can hold back his hand or say to him:“ What have you done?” (niv)

in your hands he has placed all mankind and the beasts of the field and the birds in the sky. Wherever they live, he has made you ruler over them all. You are that head of gold.“ After you, another kingdom will arise, inferior to yours. Next, a third kingdom, one of bronze, will rule over the whole earth.Finally, there will be a fourth kingdom, strong as iron— for iron breaks and smashes everything— and as iron breaks things to pieces, so it will crush and break all the others. (niv)

He raises the poor from the dust and lifts the needy from the ash heap; he seats them with princes and has them inherit a throne of honor.“ For the foundations of the earth are the Lord’s; on them he has set the world. (niv)

Your righteousness is like the highest mountains, your justice like the great deep. You, Lord, preserve both people and animals. (niv)

There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the Lord. (niv)

Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?” (niv)

Four great beasts, each different from the others, came up out of the sea.“ The first was like a lion, and it had the wings of an eagle. I watched until its wings were torn off and it was lifted from the ground so that it stood on two feet like a human being, and the mind of a human was given to it.“ And there before me was a second beast, which looked like a bear. But if he remains silent, who can condemn him? If he hides his face, who can see him? Yet he is over individual and nation alike, (niv)

I looked again, and there before me was a flying scroll. (niv)
