到那日，耶西的根立作万民的大旗；列国的人必寻求他，他安歇之所大有荣耀。当那日，主必再度伸手救回自己百姓中所剩余的，就是在亚述、埃及、巴特罗、古实、以拦、示拿、哈马，并众海岛所剩下的。他要向列国竖立大旗，召集以色列被赶散的人，又从地极四方聚集分散的犹大人。

万军之耶和华如此说：在那些日子，列国中说各种语言的人，必有十个人强拉住一个犹大人衣服的边，说：‘我们要与你们同去，因为我们听见神与你们同在了。’”

列国要来就你的光，列王要来就你发出的光辉。

你们这小群，不要惧怕，因为你们的父乐意把国赐给你们。

我的羊听我的声音，我认识它们，它们也跟从我。

他必倚靠耶和华的大能，倚靠耶和华—他神之名的威严，站立并牧养，使他们安然居住；因为现在他必尊大，直到地极。

压制你的，他的子孙必来向你屈身；藐视你的，都要在你脚前下拜。人要称你为“耶和华的城”，为“以色列圣者的锡安”。

求你在迦密的树林中，以你的杖牧放你独居的民，你产业中的羊群；愿他们像古时一样，牧放在巴珊和基列。

务要牧养在你们当中神的群羊，按着神的旨意照顾他们，不是出于勉强，而是出于甘心；也不是因为贪财，而是出于乐意。不要辖制所托付你们的群羊，而是要作他们的榜样。到了大牧人显现的时候，你们必得到那永不衰残、荣耀的冠冕。

因为耶和华救赎了雅各，救赎他脱离比他更强之人的手。
