無恥之邦歟、爾其會集、

我耶和華不悅斯民、忿怒震烈、必降以災、

惟爾不知羞不知羞或作不見悅之民、當聚集自察、

So Judah gathered together to ask help from the Lord; and from all the cities of Judah they came to seek the Lord.

Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly; Gather the elders And all the inhabitants of the land Into the house of the Lord your God, And cry out to the Lord.

Why should they say among the peoples,‘ Where is their God?’”Then the Lord will be zealous for His land, And pity His people.

Hear the word of the Lord, You rulers of Sodom; Give ear to the law of our God, You people of Gomorrah:“ To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices to Me?” Says the Lord.“ I have had enough of burnt offerings of rams And the fat of fed cattle. I do not delight in the blood of bulls, Or of lambs or goats.“ When you come to appear before Me, Who has required this from your hand, To trample My courts?Bring no more futile sacrifices; Incense is an abomination to Me. The New Moons, the Sabbaths, and the calling of assemblies— I cannot endure iniquity and the sacred meeting.Your New Moons and your appointed feasts My soul hates; They are a trouble to Me, I am weary of bearing them.When you spread out your hands, I will hide My eyes from you; Even though you make many prayers, I will not hear. Your hands are full of blood.

“ I have forsaken My house, I have left My heritage; I have given the dearly beloved of My soul into the hand of her enemies.My heritage is to Me like a lion in the forest; It cries out against Me; Therefore I have hated it.My heritage is to Me like a speckled vulture; The vultures all around are against her. Come, assemble all the beasts of the field, Bring them to devour!

Yes, in the way of Your judgments, O Lord, we have waited for You; The desire of our soul is for Your name And for the remembrance of You.With my soul I have desired You in the night, Yes, by my spirit within me I will seek You early; For when Your judgments are in the earth, The inhabitants of the world will learn righteousness.

Alas, sinful nation, A people laden with iniquity, A brood of evildoers, Children who are corrupters! They have forsaken the Lord, They have provoked to anger The Holy One of Israel, They have turned away backward.Why should you be stricken again? You will revolt more and more. The whole head is sick, And the whole heart faints.From the sole of the foot even to the head, There is no soundness in it, But wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; They have not been closed or bound up, Or soothed with ointment.
