    Behind your veil,

    I will make my way to the mountain of myrrh

    Descend from the peak of Amana,

    from the dens of the lions,
    from the mountains of the leopards.
    9You have captured my heart,4:9 Sg 6:5; 7:5 my sister,4:9 Sg 5:1–2 my bride.
    You have captured my heart with one glance of your eyes,
    with one jewel of your necklace.
    10How delightful your caresses are, my sister, my bride.

    and the fragrance of your perfume than any balsam.

    with all the best spices.
    15You are a garden spring,
    a well of flowing water4:15 Gn 26:19; Lv 14:5; Jr 2:13
    streaming from Lebanon.

    16Awaken,4:16 Sg 2:7; 3:5; 8:4 north wind;
    come, south wind.
    Blow on my garden,
    and spread the fragrance of its spices.
    Let my love come to his garden
    and eat its choicest fruits.4:16 Sg 7:13
