2 Samuel 13:18 - Então o servo a pôs para fora e trancou a porta. Ela estava vestindo uma túnica longa , pois esse era o tipo de roupa que as filhas virgens do rei usavam desde a puberdade.
2 Samuel 13:19 - Tamar pôs cinza na cabeça, rasgou a túnica longa que estava usando e se pôs a caminho, com as mãos sobre a cabeça e chorando em alta voz.
2 Samuel 13:20 - Absalão, seu irmão, lhe perguntou: “Seu irmão, Amnom, fez algum mal a você? Acalme-se, minha irmã; ele é seu irmão! Não se deixe dominar pela angústia”. E Tamar, muito triste, ficou na casa de seu irmão Absalão.
