Ester 1:21 - Al rey y a sus funcionarios les pareció bien ese consejo, de modo que el rey hizo lo que había propuesto Memucán:
2 Crónicas 22:4 - Hizo lo que ofende al Señor, como lo había hecho la familia de Acab. En efecto, una vez muerto su padre, Ocozías tuvo como consejeros a miembros de esa familia, para su perdición.
2 Crónicas 22:5 - Por consejo de ellos, Ocozías se juntó con Jorán hijo de Acab, rey de Israel, y marchó hacia Ramot de Galaad para hacerle la guerra a Jazael, rey de Siria, pero en la batalla los sirios hirieron a Jorán.
Daniel 6:7 - Nosotros los administradores reales, junto con los prefectos, sátrapas, consejeros y gobernadores, convenimos en que Su Majestad debiera emitir y confirmar un decreto que exija que, durante los próximos treinta días, sea arrojado al foso de los leones todo el que adore a cualquier dios u hombre que no sea Su Majestad.
Isaías 19:11 - Los jefes de Zoán no son más que unos necios; los consejeros más sabios le dan a Faraón consejos insensatos. ¿Cómo se les ocurre decirle: «Yo soy uno de los sabios, discípulo de los antiguos reyes»?
Isaías 19:12 - ¿Dónde quedaron tus sabios? Que te muestren y te hagan saber lo que el Señor Todopoderoso ha planeado contra Egipto.
Isaías 19:13 - Los jefes de Zoán se han vuelto necios; los jefes de Menfis se dejaron engañar. Las piedras angulares de sus pueblos han hecho que Egipto pierda el rumbo.
Eclesiastés 7:8 - Vale más el fin de algo que su principio. Vale más la paciencia que la arrogancia.
Proverbios 13:10 - El orgullo solo genera contiendas, pero la sabiduría está con quienes oyen consejos.
Proverbios 17:14 - Iniciar una pelea es romper una represa; vale más retirarse que comenzarla.
Proverbios 16:18 - Al orgullo le sigue la destrucción; a la altanería, el fracaso.
Proverbios 12:5 - En los planes del justo hay justicia, pero en los consejos del malvado hay engaño.
Ester 2:2 - Entonces los ayudantes personales del rey hicieron esta propuesta: «Que se busquen jóvenes vírgenes y hermosas para el rey.
Ester 2:3 - Que nombre el rey para cada provincia de su reino delegados que reúnan a todas esas jóvenes hermosas en el harén de la ciudadela de Susa. Que sean puestas bajo el cuidado de Jegay, el eunuco encargado de las mujeres del rey, y que se les dé un tratamiento de belleza.
Ester 2:4 - Y que reine en lugar de Vasti la joven que más le guste al rey». Esta propuesta le agradó al rey, y ordenó que así se hiciera.
Éxodo 1:14 - Les amargaban la vida obligándolos a hacer mezcla y ladrillos, y todas las labores del campo. En todos los trabajos de esclavos que los israelitas realizaban, los egipcios los trataban con crueldad.
Éxodo 5:5 - Dense cuenta de que es mucha la gente de este país, y ustedes no la dejan trabajar.
Éxodo 5:6 - Ese mismo día el faraón les ordenó a los capataces y a los jefes de cuadrilla:
Éxodo 5:7 - «Ya no le den paja a la gente para hacer ladrillos. ¡Que vayan ellos mismos a recogerla!
Éxodo 5:8 - Pero sigan exigiéndoles la misma cantidad de ladrillos que han estado haciendo. ¡No les reduzcan la cuota! Son unos holgazanes, y por eso me ruegan: “Déjanos ir a ofrecerle sacrificios a nuestro Dios”.
Éxodo 5:9 - Impónganles tareas más pesadas. Manténganlos ocupados. Así no harán caso de mentiras».
1 Reyes 12:10 - Aquellos jóvenes, que se habían criado con él, le contestaron: —Este pueblo le ha dicho a Su Majestad: “Su padre nos impuso un yugo pesado; hágalo usted más ligero”. Pues bien, respóndales de este modo: “Mi dedo meñique es más grueso que la cintura de mi padre.
1 Reyes 12:11 - Si él les impuso un yugo pesado, ¡yo les aumentaré la carga! Y, si él los castigaba a ustedes con una vara, ¡yo lo haré con un látigo!”
Éxodo 5:16 - ¡Ya ni paja recibimos! A pesar de eso, ¡se nos exige hacer ladrillos y, como si fuera poco, se nos golpea! ¡La gente de Su Majestad no está actuando bien!
Éxodo 5:17 - —¡Haraganes, haraganes! —exclamó el faraón—. ¡Eso es lo que son! Por eso andan diciendo: “Déjanos ir a ofrecerle sacrificios al Señor”.
Éxodo 5:18 - Ahora, ¡vayan a trabajar! No se les va a dar paja, pero tienen que entregar su cuota de ladrillos.
