2 Chronicles 6:5 - ‘Since the day that I brought My people out of the land of Egypt, I have chosen no city from any tribe of Israel in which to build a house, that My name might be there, nor did I choose any man to be a ruler over My people Israel.
2 Chronicles 6:6 - Yet I have chosen Jerusalem, that My name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over My people Israel.’
Daniel 9:18 - O my God, incline Your ear and hear; open Your eyes and see our desolations, and the city which is called by Your name; for we do not present our supplications before You because of our righteous deeds, but because of Your great mercies.

Deuteronomy 12:11 - then there will be the place where the Lord your God chooses to make His name abide. There you shall bring all that I command you: your burnt offerings, your sacrifices, your tithes, the heave offerings of your hand, and all your choice offerings which you vow to the Lord.
2 Chronicles 7:15 - Now My eyes will be open and My ears attentive to prayer made in this place.
2 Chronicles 7:16 - For now I have chosen and sanctified this house, that My name may be there forever; and My eyes and My heart will be there perpetually.
Nehemiah 1:6 - please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, that You may hear the prayer of Your servant which I pray before You now, day and night, for the children of Israel Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned.
2 Chronicles 6:20 - that Your eyes may be open toward this temple day and night, toward the place where You said You would put Your name, that You may hear the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.
