Ezekiel 37:10 - So I prophesied just as he commanded me to. And breath entered them. Then they came to life again. They stood up on their feet. They were like a huge army.

Romans 4:19 - Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.
Romans 4:20 - But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.
Romans 4:21 - He was absolutely sure that God had the power to do what he had promised.
Romans 4:22 - That’s why “God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.” ( Genesis 15:6 )
Romans 4:23 - The words “God accepted Abraham’s faith” were written not only for Abraham.
Romans 4:24 - They were written also for us. We believe in the God who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. So God will accept our faith and make us right with himself.
Romans 4:25 - Jesus was handed over to die for our sins. He was raised to life in order to make us right with God.

Psalm 22:29 - All rich people of the earth will feast and worship God. All who go down to the grave will kneel in front of him. Those who cannot keep themselves alive will kneel.
Jeremiah 9:23 - The Lord says, “Do not let wise people brag about how wise they are. Do not let strong people boast about how strong they are. Do not let rich people brag about how rich they are.
Jeremiah 9:24 - But here is what the one who brags should boast about. They should brag that they have the understanding to know me. I want them to know that I am the Lord. No matter what I do on earth, I am always kind, fair and right. And I take delight in this,” announces the Lord.
Proverbs 28:26 - Those who trust in themselves are foolish. But those who live wisely are kept safe.
2 Corinthians 12:7 - God has shown me amazing and wonderful things. People should not think more of me because of it. So I wouldn’t become proud of myself, I was given a problem. This problem caused pain in my body. It is a messenger from Satan to make me suffer.
2 Corinthians 12:8 - Three times I begged the Lord to take it away from me.
2 Corinthians 12:9 - But he said to me, “My grace is all you need. My power is strongest when you are weak.” So I am very happy to brag about how weak I am. Then Christ’s power can rest on me.
2 Corinthians 12:10 - Because of how I suffered for Christ, I’m glad that I am weak. I am glad in hard times. I am glad when people say mean things about me. I am glad when things are difficult. And I am glad when people make me suffer. When I am weak, I am strong.
2 Corinthians 4:7 - Treasure is kept in clay jars. In the same way, we have the treasure of the good news in these earthly bodies of ours. That shows that the mighty power of the good news comes from God. It doesn’t come from us.
Hebrews 11:19 - Abraham did this, because he believed that God could even raise the dead. In a way, he did receive Isaac back from death.
Luke 18:9 - Jesus told a story to some people who were sure they were right with God. They looked down on everyone else.
Psalm 44:5 - With your help we push back our enemies. By your power we walk all over them.
Psalm 44:6 - I put no trust in my bow. My sword doesn’t bring me victory.
Psalm 44:7 - But you give us victory over our enemies. You put them to shame.
2 Corinthians 3:5 - In ourselves we are not able to claim anything for ourselves. The power to do what we do comes from God.
Romans 4:17 - It is written, “I have made you a father of many nations.” ( Genesis 17:5 ) God considers Abraham to be our father. The God that Abraham believed in gives life to the dead. Abraham’s God also creates things that did not exist before.
Romans 4:18 - When there was no reason for hope, Abraham believed because he had hope. He became the father of many nations, exactly as God had promised. God said, “That is how many children you will have.” ( Genesis 15:5 )
Romans 4:19 - Abraham did not become weak in his faith. He accepted the fact that he was past the time when he could have children. At that time Abraham was about 100 years old. He also realized that Sarah was too old to have children.
Romans 4:20 - But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.
Romans 4:21 - He was absolutely sure that God had the power to do what he had promised.
Romans 4:22 - That’s why “God accepted Abraham because he believed. So his faith made him right with God.” ( Genesis 15:6 )
Romans 4:23 - The words “God accepted Abraham’s faith” were written not only for Abraham.
Romans 4:24 - They were written also for us. We believe in the God who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead. So God will accept our faith and make us right with himself.
Romans 4:25 - Jesus was handed over to die for our sins. He was raised to life in order to make us right with God.
