Ezekiel 13:3 - This is what the sovereign Lord says: Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit but have seen nothing!

Jeremiah 14:14 - Then the Lord said to me, “Those prophets are prophesying lies while claiming my authority! I did not send them. I did not commission them. I did not speak to them. They are prophesying to these people false visions, worthless predictions, and the delusions of their own mind.
Jeremiah 14:15 - I did not send those prophets, though they claim to be prophesying in my name. They may be saying, ‘No war or famine will happen in this land.’ But I, the Lord, say this about them: ‘War and starvation will kill those prophets.’
Jeremiah 23:25 - The Lord says, “I have heard what those prophets who are prophesying lies in my name are saying. They are saying, ‘I have had a dream! I have had a dream!’
Jeremiah 23:26 - Those prophets are just prophesying lies. They are prophesying the delusions of their own minds.
Jeremiah 23:27 - How long will they go on plotting to make my people forget who I am through the dreams they tell one another? That is just as bad as what their ancestors did when they forgot who I am by worshiping the god Baal.
Jeremiah 23:28 - Let the prophet who has had a dream go ahead and tell his dream. Let the person who has received my message report that message faithfully. What is like straw cannot compare to what is like grain! I, the Lord, affirm it!
Jeremiah 23:29 - My message is like a fire that purges dross! It is like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces! I, the Lord, so affirm it!
Jeremiah 23:30 - So I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who steal messages from one another that they claim are from me.
Jeremiah 23:31 - I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who are using their own tongues to declare, ‘The Lord declares….’
Jeremiah 23:32 - I, the Lord, affirm that I am opposed to those prophets who dream up lies and report them. They are misleading my people with their reckless lies. I did not send them. I did not commission them. They are not helping these people at all. I, the Lord, affirm it!”
Isaiah 56:10 - All their watchmen are blind, they are unaware. All of them are like mute dogs, unable to bark. They pant, lie down, and love to snooze.
Isaiah 56:11 - The dogs have big appetites; they are never full. They are shepherds who have no understanding; they all go their own way, each one looking for monetary gain.
2 Corinthians 11:13 - For such people are false apostles, deceitful workers, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ.

Micah 3:11 - Her leaders take bribes when they decide legal cases, her priests proclaim rulings for profit, and her prophets read omens for pay. Yet they claim to trust the Lord and say, “The Lord is among us. Disaster will not overtake us!”
Jeremiah 23:16 - The Lord who rules over all says to the people of Jerusalem: “Do not listen to what those prophets are saying to you. They are filling you with false hopes. They are reporting visions of their own imaginations, not something the Lord has given them to say.

2 Timothy 3:2 - For people will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, ungrateful, unholy,
2 Timothy 3:3 - unloving, irreconcilable, slanderers, without self-control, savage, opposed to what is good,
2 Timothy 3:4 - treacherous, reckless, conceited, loving pleasure rather than loving God.
2 Timothy 3:5 - They will maintain the outward appearance of religion but will have repudiated its power. So avoid people like these.
2 Timothy 3:6 - For some of these insinuate themselves into households and captivate weak women who are overwhelmed with sins and led along by various passions.
2 Timothy 3:7 - Such women are always seeking instruction, yet never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.
2 Timothy 3:8 - And just as Jannes and Jambres opposed Moses, so these people – who have warped minds and are disqualified in the faith – also oppose the truth.
2 Timothy 3:9 - But they will not go much further, for their foolishness will be obvious to everyone, just like it was with Jannes and Jambres.
Ephesians 4:14 - So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the trickery of people who craftily carry out their deceitful schemes.
Titus 1:11 - who must be silenced because they mislead whole families by teaching for dishonest gain what ought not to be taught.
Colossians 2:18 - Let no one who delights in humility and the worship of angels pass judgment on you. That person goes on at great lengths about what he has supposedly seen, but he is puffed up with empty notions by his fleshly mind.
Hebrews 10:29 - How much greater punishment do you think that person deserves who has contempt for the Son of God, and profanes the blood of the covenant that made him holy, and insults the Spirit of grace?
2 Thessalonians 2:3 - Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the rebellion comes and the man of lawlessness is revealed, the son of destruction.
2 Thessalonians 2:4 - He opposes and exalts himself above every so-called god or object of worship, and as a result he takes his seat in God’s temple, displaying himself as God.

2 Thessalonians 2:10 - and with every kind of evil deception directed against those who are perishing, because they found no place in their hearts for the truth so as to be saved.
2 Thessalonians 2:11 - Consequently God sends on them a deluding influence so that they will believe what is false.
2 Thessalonians 2:12 - And so all of them who have not believed the truth but have delighted in evil will be condemned.
Philippians 3:19 - Their end is destruction, their god is the belly, they exult in their shame, and they think about earthly things.
1 John 2:26 - These things I have written to you about those who are trying to deceive you.
Revelation 3:8 - ‘I know your deeds. (Look! I have put in front of you an open door that no one can shut.) I know that you have little strength, but you have obeyed my word and have not denied my name.

2 Peter 2:3 - And in their greed they will exploit you with deceptive words. Their condemnation pronounced long ago is not sitting idly by; their destruction is not asleep.
Jude 1:4 - For certain men have secretly slipped in among you – men who long ago were marked out for the condemnation I am about to describe – ungodly men who have turned the grace of our God into a license for evil and who deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
