  • Acts 2:42 - The believers studied what the apostles taught. They shared their lives together. They ate and prayed together.
  • 2 Corinthians 1:12 - Here is what we take pride in. Our sense of what is right and wrong tells us how we have acted. We have lived with honor and godly honesty. We have depended on God’s grace and not on the world’s wisdom. We lived that way most of all when we were dealing with you.
  • Acts 16:34 - The jailer brought them into his house. He set a meal in front of them. He and everyone who lived with him were filled with joy. They had become believers in God.
  • Psalm 86:11 - Lord, teach me how you want me to live. Do this so that I will depend on you, my faithful God. Give me a heart that doesn’t want anything more than to worship you.
  • Acts 20:7 - On the first day of the week we met to break bread and eat together. Paul spoke to the people. He kept on talking until midnight because he planned to leave the next day.
  • Acts 5:42 - Every day they taught in the temple courtyards and from house to house. They never stopped telling people the good news that Jesus is the Messiah.
