พระคัมภีร์ ฉบับแปลใหม่ - ครั้นแล้ว ผู้ปกครองแคว้น เจ้าหน้าที่ชั้นสูง ผู้ว่าราชการ ที่ปรึกษา ผู้ดูแลกองคลัง ผู้ตัดสินความ เจ้าหน้าที่บังคับคดี และบรรดาเจ้าหน้าที่ของแคว้นต่างๆ จึงมาร่วมประชุมในงานถวายรูปเคารพที่กษัตริย์ได้ตั้งขึ้น และพวกเขาก็ยืนที่เบื้องหน้ารูปเคารพนั้น

Salmo 82:1 - Dios preside el consejo celestial; entre los dioses dicta sentencia:
Salmo 82:2 - «¿Hasta cuándo defenderán la injusticia y favorecerán a los impíos? Selah
Salmo 82:3 - Defiendan la causa del huérfano y del desvalido; al pobre y al oprimido háganles justicia.
Salmo 82:4 - Salven al menesteroso y al necesitado; líbrenlos de la mano de los impíos.
Salmo 82:5 - »Ellos no saben nada, no entienden nada. Deambulan en la oscuridad; se estremecen todos los cimientos de la tierra.
Salmo 82:6 - »Yo les he dicho: “Ustedes son dioses; todos ustedes son hijos del Altísimo”.
Salmo 82:7 - Pero morirán como cualquier mortal; caerán como cualquier otro gobernante».
Salmo 82:8 - Levántate, oh Dios, y juzga a la tierra, pues tuyas son todas las naciones.
Romanos 3:11 - no hay nadie que entienda, nadie que busque a Dios.
Apocalipsis 13:13 - También hacía grandes señales milagrosas, incluso la de hacer caer fuego del cielo a la tierra, a la vista de todos.
Apocalipsis 13:14 - Con estas señales que se le permitió hacer en presencia de la primera bestia, engañó a los habitantes de la tierra. Les ordenó que hicieran una imagen en honor de la bestia que, después de ser herida a espada, revivió.
Apocalipsis 13:15 - Se le permitió infundir vida a la imagen de la primera bestia, para que hablara y mandara matar a quienes no adoraran la imagen.
Apocalipsis 13:16 - Además logró que a todos, grandes y pequeños, ricos y pobres, libres y esclavos, se les pusiera una marca en la mano derecha o en la frente,
Apocalipsis 17:13 - Estos tienen un mismo propósito, que es poner su poder y autoridad a disposición de la bestia.
Romanos 1:21 - A pesar de haber conocido a Dios, no lo glorificaron como a Dios ni le dieron gracias, sino que se extraviaron en sus inútiles razonamientos, y se les oscureció su insensato corazón.
Romanos 1:22 - Aunque afirmaban ser sabios, se volvieron necios
Romanos 1:23 - y cambiaron la gloria del Dios inmortal por imágenes que eran réplicas del hombre mortal, de las aves, de los cuadrúpedos y de los reptiles.
Romanos 1:24 - Por eso Dios los entregó a los malos deseos de sus corazones, que conducen a la impureza sexual, de modo que degradaron sus cuerpos los unos con los otros.
Romanos 1:25 - Cambiaron la verdad de Dios por la mentira, adorando y sirviendo a los seres creados antes que al Creador, quien es bendito por siempre. Amén.
Romanos 1:26 - Por tanto, Dios los entregó a pasiones vergonzosas. En efecto, las mujeres cambiaron las relaciones naturales por las que van contra la naturaleza.
Romanos 1:27 - Así mismo los hombres dejaron las relaciones naturales con la mujer y se encendieron en pasiones lujuriosas los unos con los otros. Hombres con hombres cometieron actos indecentes, y en sí mismos recibieron el castigo que merecía su perversión.
Romanos 1:28 - Además, como estimaron que no valía la pena tomar en cuenta el conocimiento de Dios, él a su vez los entregó a la depravación mental, para que hicieran lo que no debían hacer.
1 Corintios 1:24 - pero para los que Dios ha llamado, lo mismo judíos que gentiles, Cristo es el poder de Dios y la sabiduría de Dios.
1 Corintios 1:25 - Pues la locura de Dios es más sabia que la sabiduría humana, y la debilidad de Dios es más fuerte que la fuerza humana.
1 Corintios 1:26 - Hermanos, consideren su propio llamamiento: No muchos de ustedes son sabios, según criterios meramente humanos; ni son muchos los poderosos ni muchos los de noble cuna.
Hechos 19:34 - Pero, cuando se dieron cuenta de que era judío, todos se pusieron a gritar al unísono como por dos horas: —¡Grande es Artemisa de los efesios!
Hechos 19:35 - El secretario del concejo municipal logró calmar a la multitud y dijo: —Ciudadanos de Éfeso, ¿acaso no sabe todo el mundo que la ciudad de Éfeso es guardiana del templo de la gran Artemisa y de su estatua bajada del cielo?
Apocalipsis 17:17 - porque Dios les ha puesto en el corazón que lleven a cabo su divino propósito. Por eso, y de común acuerdo, ellos le entregarán a la bestia el poder que tienen de gobernar, hasta que se cumplan las palabras de Dios.
