  • Leviticus 26:27 - ‘Yet if in spite of this you do not obey Me, but act with hostility against Me,

  • Isaiah 53:11 - As a result of the anguish of His soul, He will see it and be satisfied; By His knowledge the Righteous One, My Servant, will justify the many, For He will bear their wrongdoings.
  • Hebrews 9:15 - For this reason He is the mediator of a new covenant, so that, since a death has taken place for the redemption of the violations that were committed under the first covenant, those who have been called may receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.
  • Hebrews 9:16 - For where there is a covenant, there must of necessity be the death of the one who made it.
  • Hebrews 9:17 - For a covenant is valid only when people are dead, for it is never in force while the one who made it lives.
  • Hebrews 9:18 - Therefore even the first covenant was not inaugurated without blood.
  • Hebrews 9:19 - For when every commandment had been spoken by Moses to all the people according to the Law, he took the blood of the calves and the goats, with water and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,
  • Hebrews 9:20 - saying, “This is the blood of the covenant which God commanded you.”
  • Deuteronomy 28:15 - “But it shall come about, if you do not obey the Lord your God, to be careful to follow all His commandments and His statutes which I am commanding you today, that all these curses will come upon you and overtake you:
  • Deuteronomy 28:16 - “Cursed will you be in the city, and cursed will you be in the country.
  • Deuteronomy 28:17 - “Cursed will be your basket and your kneading bowl.
  • Deuteronomy 28:18 - “Cursed will be the children of your womb, the produce of your ground, the newborn of your herd, and the offspring of your flock.
  • Deuteronomy 28:19 - “Cursed will you be when you come in, and cursed will you be when you go out.
  • Deuteronomy 28:20 - “The Lord will send against you curses, panic, and rebuke, in everything you undertake to do, until you are destroyed and until you perish quickly, on account of the evil of your deeds, because you have abandoned Me.
  • Deuteronomy 28:21 - The Lord will make the plague cling to you until He has eliminated you from the land where you are entering to take possession of it.
  • Deuteronomy 28:22 - The Lord will strike you with consumption, inflammation, fever, feverish heat, and with the sword, with blight, and with mildew, and they will pursue you until you perish.
  • Deuteronomy 28:23 - The heaven which is over your head shall be bronze, and the earth which is under you, iron.
  • Deuteronomy 28:24 - The Lord will make the rain of your land powder and dust; from heaven it shall come down on you until you are destroyed.
  • Deuteronomy 28:25 - “The Lord will cause you to be defeated by your enemies; you will go out one way against them, but you will flee seven ways from their presence, and you will be an example of terror to all the kingdoms of the earth.
  • Deuteronomy 28:26 - Your dead bodies will serve as food for all birds of the sky and for the animals of the earth, and there will be no one to frighten them away.
  • Deuteronomy 28:27 - “The Lord will strike you with the boils of Egypt and with tumors, the festering rash, and with scabies, from which you cannot be healed.
  • Deuteronomy 28:28 - The Lord will strike you with insanity, blindness, and with confusion of mind;
  • Deuteronomy 28:29 - and you will be groping about at noon, just as a person who is blind gropes in the darkness, and you will not be successful in your ways; but you will only be oppressed and robbed all the time, with no one to save you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:30 - You will betroth a woman, but another man will violate her; you will build a house, but you will not live in it; you will plant a vineyard, but you will not make use of its fruit.
  • Deuteronomy 28:31 - Your ox will be slaughtered before your eyes, but you will not eat of it; your donkey will be snatched away from you, and will not be restored to you; your sheep will be given to your enemies, and you will have no one to save you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:32 - Your sons and your daughters will be given to another people, while your eyes look on and long for them constantly; but there will be nothing you can do.
  • Deuteronomy 28:33 - A people whom you do not know will eat the produce of your ground and every product of your labor, and you will never be anything but oppressed and mistreated continually.
  • Deuteronomy 28:34 - You will also be driven insane by the sight of what you see.
  • Deuteronomy 28:35 - The Lord will strike you on the knees and thighs with severe boils from which you cannot be healed, and strike you from the sole of your foot to the top of your head.
  • Deuteronomy 28:36 - The Lord will bring you and your king, whom you appoint over you, to a nation that neither you nor your fathers have known, and there you shall serve other gods, made of wood and stone.
  • Deuteronomy 28:37 - And you will become an object of horror, a song of mockery, and an object of taunting among all the peoples where the Lord drives you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:38 - “You will bring out a great amount of seed to the field, but you will gather in little, because the locust will devour it.
  • Deuteronomy 28:39 - You will plant and cultivate vineyards, but you will neither drink of the wine nor bring in the harvest, because the worm will eat it.
  • Deuteronomy 28:40 - You will have olive trees throughout your territory but you will not anoint yourself with the oil, because your olives will drop off prematurely.
  • Deuteronomy 28:41 - You will father sons and daughters but they will not remain yours, because they will go into captivity.
  • Deuteronomy 28:42 - The cricket will take possession of all your trees and the produce of your ground.
  • Deuteronomy 28:43 - The stranger who is among you will rise above you higher and higher, and you will go down lower and lower.
  • Deuteronomy 28:44 - He will lend to you, but you will not lend to him; he will be the head, and you will be the tail.
  • Deuteronomy 28:45 - “So all these curses shall come upon you and pursue you and overtake you until you are destroyed, because you would not obey the Lord your God by keeping His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:46 - And they will become a sign and a wonder against you and your descendants forever.
  • Deuteronomy 28:47 - “Since you did not serve the Lord your God with joy and a cheerful heart, in gratitude for the abundance of all things,
  • Deuteronomy 28:48 - you will serve your enemies whom the Lord will send against you, in hunger, thirst, nakedness, and devoid of all things; and He will put an iron yoke on your neck until He has destroyed you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:49 - “The Lord will bring a nation against you from far away, from the end of the earth, as the eagle swoops down; a nation whose language you will not understand,
  • Deuteronomy 28:50 - a nation with a defiant attitude, who will have no respect for the old, nor show favor to the young.
  • Deuteronomy 28:51 - Furthermore, it will eat the offspring of your herd and the produce of your ground until you are destroyed; a nation that will leave you no grain, new wine, or oil, nor the newborn of your cattle or the young of your flock, until they have eliminated you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:52 - And it will besiege you in all your towns until your high and fortified walls in which you trusted come down throughout your land, and it will besiege you in all your towns throughout your land which the Lord your God has given you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:53 - Then you will eat the offspring of your own body, the flesh of your sons and of your daughters whom the Lord your God has given you, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:54 - The man who is refined and very delicate among you will be hostile toward his brother, toward the wife he cherishes, and toward the rest of his children who are left,
  • Deuteronomy 28:55 - so that he will not give even one of them any of the flesh of his children which he will eat, since he has nothing else left, during the siege and the hardship by which your enemy will oppress you in all your towns.
  • Deuteronomy 28:56 - The refined and delicate woman among you, who would not venture to set the sole of her foot on the ground because of her delicateness and tenderness, will be hostile toward the husband she cherishes and toward her son and daughter,
  • Deuteronomy 28:57 - and toward her afterbirth that comes from between her legs, and toward her children to whom she gives birth, because she will eat them secretly for lack of anything else, during the siege and the hardship with which your enemy will oppress you in your towns.
  • Deuteronomy 28:58 - “If you are not careful to follow all the words of this Law that are written in this book, to fear this honored and awesome name, the Lord your God,
  • Deuteronomy 28:59 - then the Lord will bring extraordinary plagues on you and your descendants, severe and lasting plagues, and miserable and chronic sicknesses.
  • Deuteronomy 28:60 - And He will bring back on you every disease of Egypt of which you were afraid, and they will cling to you.
  • Deuteronomy 28:61 - Also every sickness and every plague, which are not written in the book of this Law, the Lord will bring on you until you are destroyed.
  • Deuteronomy 28:62 - Then you will be left few in number, whereas you were as numerous as the stars of heaven, because you did not obey the Lord your God.
  • Deuteronomy 28:63 - And it will come about that, just as the Lord rejoiced over you to be good to you, and make you numerous, so will the Lord rejoice over you to wipe you out and destroy you; and you will be torn away from the land which you are entering to possess.
  • Deuteronomy 28:64 - Furthermore, the Lord will scatter you among all the peoples, from one end of the earth to the other; and there you will serve other gods, made of wood and stone, which you and your fathers have not known.
  • Deuteronomy 28:65 - Among those nations you will find no peace, and there will be no resting place for the sole of your foot; but there the Lord will give you a trembling heart, failing of eyes, and despair of soul.
  • Deuteronomy 28:66 - So your lives will be hanging in doubt before you; and you will be terrified night and day, and have no assurance of your life.
  • Deuteronomy 28:67 - In the morning you will say, ‘If only it were evening!’ And at evening you will say, ‘If only it were morning!’ because of the terror of your heart which you fear, and the sight of your eyes which you will see.
  • Deuteronomy 28:68 - And the Lord will bring you back to Egypt in ships, by the way about which I said to you, ‘You will never see it again!’ And there you will offer yourselves for sale to your enemies as male and female slaves, but there will be no buyer.”
  • Jeremiah 31:31 - “Behold, days are coming,” declares the Lord, “when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah,
  • Jeremiah 31:32 - not like the covenant which I made with their fathers on the day I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, My covenant which they broke, although I was a husband to them,” declares the Lord.
  • Jeremiah 31:33 - “For this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” declares the Lord: “I will put My law within them and write it on their heart; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
  • Jeremiah 31:34 - They will not teach again, each one his neighbor and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know the Lord,’ for they will all know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them,” declares the Lord, “for I will forgive their wrongdoing, and their sin I will no longer remember.”
  • Isaiah 42:6 - “I am the Lord, I have called You in righteousness, I will also hold You by the hand and watch over You, And I will appoint You as a covenant to the people, As a light to the nations,
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:15 - who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all people,
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:16 - hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always reach the limit of their sins. But wrath has come upon them fully.
  • Hebrews 10:4 - For it is impossible for the blood of bulls and goats to take away sins.
  • Hebrews 10:5 - Therefore, when He comes into the world, He says, “You have not desired sacrifice and offering, But You have prepared a body for Me;
  • Hebrews 10:6 - You have not taken pleasure in whole burnt offerings and offerings for sin.
  • Hebrews 10:7 - Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come (It is written of Me in the scroll of the book) To do Your will, O God.’ ”
  • Hebrews 10:8 - After saying above, “Sacrifices and offerings and whole burnt offerings and offerings for sin You have not desired, nor have You taken pleasure in them” (which are offered according to the Law),
  • Hebrews 10:9 - then He said, “Behold, I have come to do Your will.” He takes away the first in order to establish the second.
  • Hebrews 10:10 - By this will, we have been sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all time.
  • Hebrews 10:11 - Every priest stands daily ministering and offering time after time the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins;
  • Hebrews 10:12 - but He, having offered one sacrifice for sins for all time, sat down at the right hand of God,
  • Hebrews 10:13 - waiting from that time onward until His enemies are made a footstool for His feet.
  • Hebrews 10:14 - For by one offering He has perfected for all time those who are sanctified.
  • Hebrews 10:15 - And the Holy Spirit also testifies to us; for after saying,
  • Hebrews 10:16 - “This is the covenant which I will make with them After those days, declares the Lord: I will put My laws upon their hearts, And write them on their mind,” He then says,
  • Hebrews 10:17 - “And their sins and their lawless deeds I will no longer remember.”
  • Hebrews 10:18 - Now where there is forgiveness of these things, an offering for sin is no longer required.
  • Hebrews 10:19 - Therefore, brothers and sisters, since we have confidence to enter the holy place by the blood of Jesus,
  • Hebrews 10:20 - by a new and living way which He inaugurated for us through the veil, that is, through His flesh,
  • Hebrews 10:21 - and since we have a great priest over the house of God,
  • Hebrews 10:22 - let’s approach God with a sincere heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water.
  • Romans 11:26 - and so all Israel will be saved; just as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion, He will remove ungodliness from Jacob.”
  • Romans 5:15 - But the gracious gift is not like the offense. For if by the offense of the one the many died, much more did the grace of God and the gift by the grace of the one Man, Jesus Christ, overflow to the many.
  • Hebrews 9:28 - so Christ also, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.

  • Romans 15:8 - For I say that Christ has become a servant to the circumcision in behalf of the truth of God, to confirm the promises given to the fathers,
  • Romans 15:9 - and for the Gentiles to glorify God for His mercy; as it is written: “Therefore I will give praise to You among the Gentiles, And I will sing praises to Your name.”
  • Ezekiel 16:60 - “Nevertheless, I will remember My covenant with you in the days of your youth, and I will establish an everlasting covenant with you.
  • Ezekiel 16:61 - Then you will remember your ways and be ashamed when you receive your sisters, both your older and your younger; and I will give them to you as daughters, but not because of your covenant.
  • Ezekiel 16:62 - So I will establish My covenant with you, and you shall know that I am the Lord,
  • Ezekiel 16:63 - so that you may remember and be ashamed, and not open your mouth again because of your disgrace, when I have forgiven you for all that you have done,” the Lord God declares.
  • Matthew 27:51 - And behold, the veil of the temple was torn in two from top to bottom; and the earth shook and the rocks were split.
  • Isaiah 28:22 - And now do not carry on as scoffers, Or your shackles will be made stronger; For I have heard from the Lord God of armies Of decisive destruction on all the earth.
