  • 2 Chronicles 30:25 - The entire community of Judah was filled with joy. So were the priests and Levites. And so were all the people who had gathered together from Israel. That included the outsiders who had come from Israel. It also included those who lived in Judah.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:26 - There was great joy in Jerusalem. There hadn’t been anything like it in Israel since the days of Solomon, the son of David. Solomon had been king of Israel.
  • 2 Chronicles 30:27 - The priests and Levites gave their blessing to the people. God heard them. Their prayer reached all the way to heaven. It’s the holy place where God lives.
  • Deuteronomy 16:11 - Be filled with joy in the sight of the Lord your God. Be joyful at the special place he will choose for his Name. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites living in your towns. So should the outsiders and widows living among you. And so should the children whose fathers have died.
  • Nehemiah 8:10 - Nehemiah said, “Go and enjoy some good food and sweet drinks. Send some of it to people who don’t have any. This day is holy to our Lord. So don’t be sad. The joy of the Lord makes you strong.”
  • Colossians 1:20 - God was pleased to bring all things back to himself. That’s because of what Christ has done. These things include everything on earth and in heaven. God made peace through Christ’s blood, by his death on the cross.
  • Deuteronomy 12:12 - Be filled with joy there in the sight of the Lord your God. Your children should also be joyful. So should your male and female servants. And so should the Levites from your towns. The Levites won’t receive any part of the land as their share.
  • Deuteronomy 26:10 - Now, Lord, I’m bringing you the first share of crops from the soil. After all, you have given them to me.” Place the basket in front of the Lord your God. Bow down to him.
  • Deuteronomy 26:11 - Then you and the Levites and the outsiders among you will be full of joy. You will enjoy all the good things the Lord your God has given to you and your family.
  • Ephesians 2:16 - He planned to bring both Jews and Gentiles back to God as one body. He planned to do this through the cross. On that cross, Christ put to death their hatred toward one another.
  • Ephesians 2:17 - He came and preached peace to you who were far away. He also preached peace to those who were near.
  • Leviticus 7:11 - “ ‘Here are some more rules for friendship offerings anyone may bring to the Lord.
  • Leviticus 7:12 - “ ‘Suppose they offer a friendship offering to show they are thankful. Then together with the thank offering they must offer thick loaves of bread. They must make them without yeast. They must mix them with olive oil. Or they must offer thin loaves of bread made without yeast. They must spread olive oil on them. Or they must offer thick loaves of bread made out of the finest flour. They must add olive oil to it. They must work the flour and prepare it well.
  • Leviticus 7:13 - They must bring another friendship offering along with their thank offering. It should be thick loaves of bread made with yeast.
  • Leviticus 7:14 - They must bring one of each kind of bread as an offering. One kind is made with yeast. The other is not. Both of them are a gift to the Lord. They belong to the priest who splashes the blood of the friendship offering against the altar.
  • Leviticus 7:15 - The person must eat the meat from their thank offering on the day they offer it. They must not leave any of it until morning.
  • Leviticus 7:16 - “ ‘But suppose they bring a friendship offering to keep a promise they have made. Or suppose they bring an offering they choose to give. Then they must eat the sacrifice on the day they offer it. But if anything is left over, they may eat it the next day.
  • Leviticus 7:17 - They must burn up any meat from the sacrifice left over until the third day.
  • Deuteronomy 16:14 - Be filled with joy at your feast. You, your children, and your male and female servants should be joyful. So should the Levites, the outsiders, and the widows living in your towns. And so should the children whose fathers have died.
  • Isaiah 12:3 - People of Israel, he will save you. That will bring you joy like water brought up from wells.
  • Habakkuk 3:18 - But I will still be glad because of what the Lord has done. God my Savior fills me with joy.
  • Hebrews 13:20 - Our Lord Jesus is the great Shepherd of the sheep. The God who gives peace brought him back from the dead. He did it because of the blood of the eternal covenant. Now may God
  • Hebrews 13:21 - supply you with everything good. Then you can do what he wants. May he do in us what is pleasing to him. We can do it only with the help of Jesus Christ. Give him glory for ever and ever. Amen.
  • Deuteronomy 12:7 - You and your families will eat at the place the Lord your God will choose. He will be with you there. You will find joy in everything you have done. That’s because he has blessed you.
  • Psalm 100:1 - Shout for joy to the Lord, everyone on earth.
  • Psalm 100:2 - Worship the Lord with gladness. Come to him with songs of joy.
  • Acts 10:36 - You know the message God sent to the people of Israel. It is the good news of peace through Jesus Christ. He is Lord of all.
