  • Exodus 7:3 - But I will make Pharaoh’s heart stubborn so I can multiply my miraculous signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.
  • Exodus 7:4 - Even then Pharaoh will refuse to listen to you. So I will bring down my fist on Egypt. Then I will rescue my forces—my people, the Israelites—from the land of Egypt with great acts of judgment.
  • Exodus 7:5 - When I raise my powerful hand and bring out the Israelites, the Egyptians will know that I am the Lord.”
  • Exodus 7:6 - So Moses and Aaron did just as the Lord had commanded them.
  • Exodus 7:7 - Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to Pharaoh.
  • Exodus 7:8 - Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
  • Exodus 7:9 - “Pharaoh will demand, ‘Show me a miracle.’ When he does this, say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent. ’”
  • Exodus 7:10 - So Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh and did what the Lord had commanded them. Aaron threw down his staff before Pharaoh and his officials, and it became a serpent!
  • Exodus 7:11 - Then Pharaoh called in his own wise men and sorcerers, and these Egyptian magicians did the same thing with their magic.
  • Exodus 7:12 - They threw down their staffs, which also became serpents! But then Aaron’s staff swallowed up their staffs.
  • Exodus 7:13 - Pharaoh’s heart, however, remained hard. He still refused to listen, just as the Lord had predicted.
  • Exodus 7:14 - Then the Lord said to Moses, “Pharaoh’s heart is stubborn, and he still refuses to let the people go.
  • Psalms 105:26 - But the Lord sent his servant Moses, along with Aaron, whom he had chosen.
  • Psalms 105:27 - They performed miraculous signs among the Egyptians, and wonders in the land of Ham.
  • Psalms 105:28 - The Lord blanketed Egypt in darkness, for they had defied his commands to let his people go.

  • Psalms 105:31 - When the Lord spoke, flies descended on the Egyptians, and gnats swarmed across Egypt.
  • Psalms 105:32 - He sent them hail instead of rain, and lightning flashed over the land.
  • Psalms 105:33 - He ruined their grapevines and fig trees and shattered all the trees.
  • Psalms 105:34 - He spoke, and hordes of locusts came— young locusts beyond number.
  • Psalms 105:35 - They ate up everything green in the land, destroying all the crops in their fields.
  • Psalms 105:36 - Then he killed the oldest son in each Egyptian home, the pride and joy of each family.
  • Psalms 46:1 - God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
  • Psalms 46:2 - So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.
  • Psalms 135:8 - He destroyed the firstborn in each Egyptian home, both people and animals.
  • Psalms 135:9 - He performed miraculous signs and wonders in Egypt against Pharaoh and all his people.
  • Psalms 135:10 - He struck down great nations and slaughtered mighty kings—
  • Isaiah 51:9 - Wake up, wake up, O Lord! Clothe yourself with strength! Flex your mighty right arm! Rouse yourself as in the days of old when you slew Egypt, the dragon of the Nile.
  • Isaiah 51:10 - Are you not the same today, the one who dried up the sea, making a path of escape through the depths so that your people could cross over?
  • Psalms 136:10 - Give thanks to him who killed the firstborn of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:11 - He brought Israel out of Egypt. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:12 - He acted with a strong hand and powerful arm. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:13 - Give thanks to him who parted the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:14 - He led Israel safely through, His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 136:15 - but he hurled Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea. His faithful love endures forever.
  • Psalms 27:1 - The Lord is my light and my salvation— so why should I be afraid? The Lord is my fortress, protecting me from danger, so why should I tremble?
  • Psalms 27:2 - When evil people come to devour me, when my enemies and foes attack me, they will stumble and fall.
  • Deuteronomy 1:29 - “But I said to you, ‘Don’t be shocked or afraid of them!
  • Psalms 77:11 - But then I recall all you have done, O Lord; I remember your wonderful deeds of long ago.
