  • Ezekiel 16:6 - “ ‘ “I was passing by. I saw you kicking around in your blood. As you were lying there, I said to you, ‘Live!’
  • Ezekiel 16:7 - I made you grow like a plant in a field. Soon you had grown up. You became a young adult. Your breasts had formed. Your hair had grown. But you were completely naked.
  • Ezekiel 16:8 - “ ‘ “Later, I was passing by again. I looked at you. I saw that you were old enough for love. So I married you and took good care of you. I covered your naked body. I made a firm promise to you. I entered into a covenant with you. And you became mine,” announces the Lord and King.
  • Exodus 33:19 - The Lord said, “I will make all my goodness pass in front of you. And I will announce my name, the Lord, in front of you. I will have mercy on whom I have mercy. And I will show love to those I love.
  • Nehemiah 9:17 - They refused to listen to you. They forgot the miracles you had done among them. So they became stubborn. When they refused to obey you, they appointed a leader for themselves. They wanted to go back to being slaves in Egypt. But you are a God who forgives. You are gracious. You are tender and kind. You are slow to get angry. You are full of love. So you didn’t desert them.
  • Romans 2:4 - Do you disrespect God’s great kindness and favor? Do you disrespect God when he is patient with you? Don’t you realize that God’s kindness is meant to turn you away from your sins?
  • Romans 9:23 - What if he put up with them to show the riches of his glory to other people? Those other people are the ones he shows his mercy to. He made them to receive his glory.
  • Jeremiah 31:3 - The Lord appeared to us in the past. He said, “I have loved you with a love that lasts forever. I have kept on loving you with a kindness that never fails.
  • 1 Timothy 1:14 - Our Lord poured out more and more of his grace on me. Along with it came faith and love from Christ Jesus.
  • 1 John 4:10 - Here is what love is. It is not that we loved God. It is that he loved us and sent his Son to give his life to pay for our sins.
  • 1 John 4:11 - Dear friends, since God loved us this much, we should also love one another.
  • 1 John 4:12 - No one has ever seen God. But if we love one another, God lives in us. His love is made complete in us.
  • 1 John 4:13 - Here’s how we know that we are joined to him and he to us. He has given us his Holy Spirit.
  • 1 John 4:14 - The Father has sent his Son to be the Savior of the world. We have seen it and are witnesses to it.
  • 1 John 4:15 - God lives in anyone who agrees that Jesus is the Son of God. This kind of person remains joined to God.
  • 1 John 4:16 - So we know that God loves us. We depend on it. God is love. Anyone who leads a life of love is joined to God. And God is joined to them.
  • 1 John 4:17 - Suppose love is fulfilled among us. Then we can be without fear on the day God judges the world. Love is fulfilled among us when in this world we are like Jesus.
  • 1 John 4:18 - There is no fear in love. Instead, perfect love drives away fear. That’s because fear has to do with being punished. The one who fears does not have perfect love.
  • 1 John 4:19 - We love because he loved us first.
  • Ephesians 3:8 - I am by far the least important of all the Lord’s holy people. But he gave me the grace to preach to the Gentiles about the unlimited riches that Christ gives.
  • John 3:14 - Moses lifted up the snake in the desert. In the same way, the Son of Man must also be lifted up.
  • John 3:15 - Then everyone who believes may have eternal life in him.”
  • John 3:16 - God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son. Anyone who believes in him will not die but will have eternal life.
  • John 3:17 - God did not send his Son into the world to judge the world. He sent his Son to save the world through him.
  • Psalm 103:8 - The Lord is tender and kind. He is gracious. He is slow to get angry. He is full of love.
  • Psalm 103:9 - He won’t keep bringing charges against us. He won’t stay angry with us forever.
  • Psalm 103:10 - He doesn’t punish us for our sins as much as we should be punished. He doesn’t pay us back in keeping with the evil things we’ve done.
  • Psalm 103:11 - He loves those who have respect for him. His love is as high as the heavens are above the earth.
  • Psalm 145:8 - The Lord is gracious, kind and tender. He is slow to get angry and full of love.
  • Romans 5:8 - But here is how God has shown his love for us. While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
  • Romans 10:12 - There is no difference between those who are Jews and those who are not. The same Lord is Lord of all. He richly blesses everyone who calls on him.
  • Psalm 86:15 - But Lord, you are a God who is tender and kind. You are gracious. You are slow to get angry. You are faithful and full of love.
  • Ephesians 2:7 - He has done it to show the riches of his grace for all time to come. His grace can’t be compared with anything else. He has shown it by being kind to us. He was kind to us because of what Christ Jesus has done.
  • Ephesians 1:7 - We have been set free because of what Christ has done. Because he bled and died our sins have been forgiven. We have been set free because God’s grace is so rich.
  • Titus 3:4 - But the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared.
  • Titus 3:5 - He saved us. It wasn’t because of the good things we had done. It was because of his mercy. He saved us by washing away our sins. We were born again. The Holy Spirit gave us new life.
  • Titus 3:6 - God poured out the Spirit on us freely. That’s because of what Jesus Christ our Savior has done.
  • Titus 3:7 - His grace made us right with God. So now we have received the hope of eternal life as God’s children.
  • 1 Peter 1:3 - Give praise to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. In his great mercy he has given us a new birth and a living hope. This hope is living because Jesus Christ rose from the dead.
