  • Exodus 24:16 - The glory of the Lord resided on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it for six days. On the seventh day he called to Moses from within the cloud.

  • Exodus 18:5 - Jethro, Moses’ father-in-law, together with Moses’ sons and his wife, came to Moses in the desert where he was camping by the mountain of God.
  • Exodus 18:6 - He said to Moses, “I, your father-in-law Jethro, am coming to you, along with your wife and her two sons with her.”
  • Exodus 19:3 - Moses went up to God, and the Lord called to him from the mountain, “Thus you will tell the house of Jacob, and declare to the people of Israel:
  • Matthew 4:18 - As he was walking by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon (called Peter) and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen).
  • Matthew 4:19 - He said to them, “Follow me, and I will turn you into fishers of people.”
  • Exodus 2:18 - So when they came home to their father Reuel, he asked, “Why have you come home so early today?”
  • Deuteronomy 1:6 - The Lord our God spoke to us at Horeb and said, “You have stayed in the area of this mountain long enough.

  • Judges 4:11 - Now Heber the Kenite had moved away from the Kenites, the descendants of Hobab, Moses’ father-in-law. He lived near the great tree in Zaanannim near Kedesh.
  • Exodus 17:6 - I will be standing before you there on the rock in Horeb, and you will strike the rock, and water will come out of it so that the people may drink.” And Moses did so in plain view of the elders of Israel.
  • Numbers 10:29 - Moses said to Hobab son of Reuel, the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place about which the Lord said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us and we will treat you well, for the Lord has promised good things for Israel.”
  • 1 Kings 19:8 - So he got up and ate and drank. That meal gave him the strength to travel forty days and forty nights until he reached Horeb, the mountain of God.
