Psalms 106:19 - They made a calf in Horeb (Sinai) And worshiped a cast image.

Hosea 13:2 - And now they sin more and more, And make for themselves molten images, Idols skillfully made from their silver [as it pleased them], All of them the work of the craftsmen. They say of these [very works of their hands], “Let those who sacrifice kiss and show respect to the calves [as if they were living gods]!”
2 Chronicles 11:15 - Jeroboam appointed his own priests for the high places, for the satyrs (goat demons) and calves (idols) which he had made.

Isaiah 44:9 - All who make carved idols are nothing. Their precious objects are worthless [to them], and their own witnesses (worshipers) fail to see or know, so that they will be put to shame.
Isaiah 44:10 - Who has made a god or cast an idol which is profitable for nothing?
1 Kings 12:28 - So the king took counsel [and followed bad advice] and made two calves of gold. And he said to the people, “It is too much for you to go [all the way] up to Jerusalem; behold your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt.”
