Micah 6:10 - Are there yet the treasures of wickedness In the house of the wicked, And the short measure that is an abomination?
Micah 6:11 - Shall I count pure those with the wicked scales, And with the bag of deceitful weights?
Micah 6:12 - For her rich men are full of violence, Her inhabitants have spoken lies, And their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
Jeremiah 5:25 - Your iniquities have turned these things away, And your sins have withheld good from you.
Jeremiah 5:26 - ‘For among My people are found wicked men; They lie in wait as one who sets snares; They set a trap; They catch men.
Jeremiah 5:27 - As a cage is full of birds, So their houses are full of deceit. Therefore they have become great and grown rich.
Jeremiah 5:28 - They have grown fat, they are sleek; Yes, they surpass the deeds of the wicked; They do not plead the cause, The cause of the fatherless; Yet they prosper, And the right of the needy they do not defend.
Jeremiah 5:29 - Shall I not punish them for these things?’ says the Lord. ‘Shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?’
Jeremiah 5:30 - “An astonishing and horrible thing Has been committed in the land:
Jeremiah 5:31 - The prophets prophesy falsely, And the priests rule by their own power; And My people love to have it so. But what will you do in the end?
Jeremiah 5:1 - “Run to and fro through the streets of Jerusalem; See now and know; And seek in her open places If you can find a man, If there is anyone who executes judgment, Who seeks the truth, And I will pardon her.
Jeremiah 5:2 - Though they say, ‘As the Lord lives,’ Surely they swear falsely.”
Jeremiah 5:3 - O Lord, are not Your eyes on the truth? You have stricken them, But they have not grieved; You have consumed them, But they have refused to receive correction. They have made their faces harder than rock; They have refused to return.
Jeremiah 5:4 - Therefore I said, “Surely these are poor. They are foolish; For they do not know the way of the Lord, The judgment of their God.
Jeremiah 5:5 - I will go to the great men and speak to them, For they have known the way of the Lord, The judgment of their God.” But these have altogether broken the yoke And burst the bonds.
Jeremiah 5:6 - Therefore a lion from the forest shall slay them, A wolf of the deserts shall destroy them; A leopard will watch over their cities. Everyone who goes out from there shall be torn in pieces, Because their transgressions are many; Their backslidings have increased.
Jeremiah 5:7 - “How shall I pardon you for this? Your children have forsaken Me And sworn by those that are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, Then they committed adultery And assembled themselves by troops in the harlots’ houses.
Jeremiah 5:8 - They were like well-fed lusty stallions; Every one neighed after his neighbor’s wife.
Jeremiah 5:9 - Shall I not punish them for these things?” says the Lord. “And shall I not avenge Myself on such a nation as this?
Ezekiel 23:49 - They shall repay you for your lewdness, and you shall pay for your idolatrous sins. Then you shall know that I am the Lord God.’ ”
Ezekiel 22:2 - “Now, son of man, will you judge, will you judge the bloody city? Yes, show her all her abominations!
Ezekiel 22:3 - Then say, ‘Thus says the Lord God: “The city sheds blood in her own midst, that her time may come; and she makes idols within herself to defile herself.
Ezekiel 22:4 - You have become guilty by the blood which you have shed, and have defiled yourself with the idols which you have made. You have caused your days to draw near, and have come to the end of your years; therefore I have made you a reproach to the nations, and a mockery to all countries.
Ezekiel 22:5 - Those near and those far from you will mock you as infamous and full of tumult.
Ezekiel 22:6 - “Look, the princes of Israel: each one has used his power to shed blood in you.
Ezekiel 22:7 - In you they have made light of father and mother; in your midst they have oppressed the stranger; in you they have mistreated the fatherless and the widow.
Ezekiel 22:8 - You have despised My holy things and profaned My Sabbaths.
Ezekiel 22:9 - In you are men who slander to cause bloodshed; in you are those who eat on the mountains; in your midst they commit lewdness.
Ezekiel 22:10 - In you men uncover their fathers’ nakedness; in you they violate women who are set apart during their impurity.
Ezekiel 22:11 - One commits abomination with his neighbor’s wife; another lewdly defiles his daughter-in-law; and another in you violates his sister, his father’s daughter.
Ezekiel 22:12 - In you they take bribes to shed blood; you take usury and increase; you have made profit from your neighbors by extortion, and have forgotten Me,” says the Lord God.
Ezekiel 22:13 - “Behold, therefore, I beat My fists at the dishonest profit which you have made, and at the bloodshed which has been in your midst.
Ezekiel 22:14 - Can your heart endure, or can your hands remain strong, in the days when I shall deal with you? I, the Lord, have spoken, and will do it.
Ezekiel 22:15 - I will scatter you among the nations, disperse you throughout the countries, and remove your filthiness completely from you.
Exodus 14:18 - Then the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord, when I have gained honor for Myself over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen.”
2 Kings 17:9 - Also the children of Israel secretly did against the Lord their God things that were not right, and they built for themselves high places in all their cities, from watchtower to fortified city.
2 Kings 17:10 - They set up for themselves sacred pillars and wooden images on every high hill and under every green tree.
2 Kings 17:11 - There they burned incense on all the high places, like the nations whom the Lord had carried away before them; and they did wicked things to provoke the Lord to anger,
2 Kings 17:12 - for they served idols, of which the Lord had said to them, “You shall not do this thing.”
2 Kings 17:13 - Yet the Lord testified against Israel and against Judah, by all of His prophets, every seer, saying, “Turn from your evil ways, and keep My commandments and My statutes, according to all the law which I commanded your fathers, and which I sent to you by My servants the prophets.”
2 Kings 17:14 - Nevertheless they would not hear, but stiffened their necks, like the necks of their fathers, who did not believe in the Lord their God.
2 Kings 17:15 - And they rejected His statutes and His covenant that He had made with their fathers, and His testimonies which He had testified against them; they followed idols, became idolaters, and went after the nations who were all around them, concerning whom the Lord had charged them that they should not do like them.
2 Kings 17:16 - So they left all the commandments of the Lord their God, made for themselves a molded image and two calves, made a wooden image and worshiped all the host of heaven, and served Baal.
2 Kings 17:17 - And they caused their sons and daughters to pass through the fire, practiced witchcraft and soothsaying, and sold themselves to do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke Him to anger.
2 Kings 17:18 - Therefore the Lord was very angry with Israel, and removed them from His sight; there was none left but the tribe of Judah alone.

Zephaniah 3:1 - Woe to her who is rebellious and polluted, To the oppressing city!
Zephaniah 3:2 - She has not obeyed His voice, She has not received correction; She has not trusted in the Lord, She has not drawn near to her God.
Zephaniah 3:3 - Her princes in her midst are roaring lions; Her judges are evening wolves That leave not a bone till morning.
Zephaniah 3:4 - Her prophets are insolent, treacherous people; Her priests have polluted the sanctuary, They have done violence to the law.
Ezekiel 6:11 - ‘Thus says the Lord God: “Pound your fists and stamp your feet, and say, ‘Alas, for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! For they shall fall by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.
Ezekiel 7:27 - ‘The king will mourn, The prince will be clothed with desolation, And the hands of the common people will tremble. I will do to them according to their way, And according to what they deserve I will judge them; Then they shall know that I am the Lord!’ ”
Ezekiel 36:17 - “Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own ways and deeds; to Me their way was like the uncleanness of a woman in her customary impurity.
Ezekiel 36:18 - Therefore I poured out My fury on them for the blood they had shed on the land, and for their idols with which they had defiled it.
2 Chronicles 36:14 - Moreover all the leaders of the priests and the people transgressed more and more, according to all the abominations of the nations, and defiled the house of the Lord which He had consecrated in Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 36:15 - And the Lord God of their fathers sent warnings to them by His messengers, rising up early and sending them, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place.
2 Chronicles 36:16 - But they mocked the messengers of God, despised His words, and scoffed at His prophets, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, till there was no remedy.
2 Chronicles 36:17 - Therefore He brought against them the king of the Chaldeans, who killed their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion on young man or virgin, on the aged or the weak; He gave them all into his hand.
Psalms 83:17 - Let them be confounded and dismayed forever; Yes, let them be put to shame and perish,
Psalms 83:18 - That they may know that You, whose name alone is the Lord, Are the Most High over all the earth.
Ezekiel 25:11 - And I will execute judgments upon Moab, and they shall know that I am the Lord.”
Ezekiel 22:25 - The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured people; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst.
Ezekiel 22:26 - Her priests have violated My law and profaned My holy things; they have not distinguished between the holy and unholy, nor have they made known the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have hidden their eyes from My Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
Ezekiel 22:27 - Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, to shed blood, to destroy people, and to get dishonest gain.
Ezekiel 22:28 - Her prophets plastered them with untempered mortar, seeing false visions, and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord had not spoken.
Ezekiel 22:29 - The people of the land have used oppressions, committed robbery, and mistreated the poor and needy; and they wrongfully oppress the stranger.
Ezekiel 22:30 - So I sought for a man among them who would make a wall, and stand in the gap before Me on behalf of the land, that I should not destroy it; but I found no one.
Ezekiel 22:31 - Therefore I have poured out My indignation on them; I have consumed them with the fire of My wrath; and I have recompensed their deeds on their own heads,” says the Lord God.
Ezekiel 8:6 - Furthermore He said to me, “Son of man, do you see what they are doing, the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, to make Me go far away from My sanctuary? Now turn again, you will see greater abominations.”
Ezekiel 8:7 - So He brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, there was a hole in the wall.
Ezekiel 8:8 - Then He said to me, “Son of man, dig into the wall”; and when I dug into the wall, there was a door.
Ezekiel 8:9 - And He said to me, “Go in, and see the wicked abominations which they are doing there.”
Ezekiel 8:10 - So I went in and saw, and there—every sort of creeping thing, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed all around on the walls.
Ezekiel 8:11 - And there stood before them seventy men of the elders of the house of Israel, and in their midst stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan. Each man had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up.
Ezekiel 8:12 - Then He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘The Lord does not see us, the Lord has forsaken the land.’ ”
Ezekiel 8:13 - And He said to me, “Turn again, and you will see greater abominations that they are doing.”
Ezekiel 8:14 - So He brought me to the door of the north gate of the Lord’s house; and to my dismay, women were sitting there weeping for Tammuz.
Ezekiel 8:15 - Then He said to me, “Have you seen this, O son of man? Turn again, you will see greater abominations than these.”
Ezekiel 6:7 - The slain shall fall in your midst, and you shall know that I am the Lord.
