Psalm 72:2 - May he rule your people in the right way. May he be fair to those among your people who are hurting.
Psalm 72:3 - May the mountains and the hills produce rich crops, because the people will do what is right.
Psalm 72:4 - May the king stand up for those who are hurting. May he save the children of those who are in need. May he crush those who treat others badly.
Psalm 78:72 - David cared for them with a faithful and honest heart. With skilled hands he led them.
Ephesians 4:8 - That is why Scripture says, “When he went up to his place on high, he took many prisoners. He gave gifts to his people.” ( Psalm 68:18 )
Micah 2:1 - How terrible it will be for those who plan to harm others! How terrible for those who make evil plans before they even get out of bed! As soon as daylight comes, they carry out their plans. That’s because they have the power to do it.
Micah 2:2 - If they want fields or houses, they take them. They cheat people out of their homes. They rob them of their property.
Micah 1:1 - A message from the Lord came to Micah. He was from the town of Moresheth. The message came while Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah were kings of Judah. This is the vision Micah saw concerning Samaria and Jerusalem. Here is what he said.
Micah 1:2 - Listen to me, all you nations! Earth and everyone who lives in it, pay attention! The Lord and King will be a witness against you. The Lord will speak from his holy temple in heaven.
1 Kings 21:19 - Tell him, ‘The Lord says, “Haven’t you murdered a man? Haven’t you taken over his property?” ’ Then tell Ahab, ‘The Lord says, “Dogs licked up Naboth’s blood. In that same place dogs will lick up your blood. Yes, I said your blood!” ’ ”
Ezekiel 22:27 - The officials in the land are like wolves that tear their food apart. They spill blood and kill people to get rich.
Ezekiel 45:8 - The prince will own this land in Israel. And my princes will not crush my people anymore. Instead, they will allow the people of Israel to receive their own share of land. It will be divided up based on their tribes.”
