  • Psalms 18:40 - You have also made my enemies turn their backs to me, that I might cut off those who hate me.
  • Psalms 18:41 - They cried, but there was no one to save; even to Yahweh, but he didn’t answer them.
  • Psalms 18:42 - Then I beat them small as the dust before the wind. I cast them out as the mire of the streets.
  • Psalms 18:43 - You have delivered me from the strivings of the people. You have made me the head of the nations. A people whom I have not known shall serve me.
  • Psalms 18:44 - As soon as they hear of me they shall obey me. The foreigners shall submit themselves to me.

  • Psalms 18:46 - Yahweh lives! Blessed be my rock. Exalted be the God of my salvation,
  • Psalms 18:47 - even the God who executes vengeance for me, and subdues peoples under me.
  • Psalms 18:48 - He rescues me from my enemies. Yes, you lift me up above those who rise up against me. You deliver me from the violent man.
  • Psalms 18:49 - Therefore I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations, and will sing praises to your name.
  • Psalms 18:50 - He gives great deliverance to his king, and shows loving kindness to his anointed, to David and to his offspring, forever more.
  • Psalms 77:7 - “Will the Lord reject us forever? Will he be favorable no more?
  • Psalms 77:8 - Has his loving kindness vanished forever? Does his promise fail for generations?
  • Psalms 77:9 - Has God forgotten to be gracious? Has he, in anger, withheld his compassion?” Selah.

  • Psalms 116:13 - I will take the cup of salvation, and call on Yahweh’s name.
  • Psalms 116:14 - I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people.
  • Psalms 116:15 - Precious in Yahweh’s sight is the death of his saints.
  • Psalms 116:16 - Yahweh, truly I am your servant. I am your servant, the son of your servant girl. You have freed me from my chains.
  • Psalms 116:17 - I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call on Yahweh’s name.
  • Psalms 116:18 - I will pay my vows to Yahweh, yes, in the presence of all his people,
  • Psalms 116:19 - in the courts of Yahweh’s house, in the middle of you, Jerusalem. Praise Yah!
  • Psalms 40:1 - I waited patiently for Yahweh. He turned to me, and heard my cry.
  • Psalms 40:2 - He brought me up also out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay. He set my feet on a rock, and gave me a firm place to stand.
  • Psalms 40:3 - He has put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God. Many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in Yahweh.
  • Psalms 40:4 - Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn away to lies.
  • Psalms 40:5 - Many, Yahweh, my God, are the wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us. They can’t be declared back to you. If I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be counted.
  • Psalms 40:6 - Sacrifice and offering you didn’t desire. You have opened my ears. You have not required burnt offering and sin offering.
  • Psalms 40:7 - Then I said, “Behold, I have come. It is written about me in the book in the scroll.
  • Psalms 40:8 - I delight to do your will, my God. Yes, your law is within my heart.”
  • Psalms 40:9 - I have proclaimed glad news of righteousness in the great assembly. Behold, I will not seal my lips, Yahweh, you know.
  • Psalms 40:10 - I have not hidden your righteousness within my heart. I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation. I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great assembly.
  • Psalms 40:11 - Don’t withhold your tender mercies from me, Yahweh. Let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
  • Psalms 40:12 - For innumerable evils have surrounded me. My iniquities have overtaken me, so that I am not able to look up. They are more than the hairs of my head. My heart has failed me.
  • Psalms 40:13 - Be pleased, Yahweh, to deliver me. Hurry to help me, Yahweh.
  • Psalms 40:14 - Let them be disappointed and confounded together who seek after my soul to destroy it. Let them be turned backward and brought to dishonor who delight in my hurt.
  • Psalms 40:15 - Let them be desolate by reason of their shame that tell me, “Aha! Aha!”
  • Psalms 40:16 - Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let Yahweh be exalted!”
  • Psalms 40:17 - But I am poor and needy. May the Lord think about me. You are my help and my deliverer. Don’t delay, my God.
  • Mark 9:19 - He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”
