- Numbers 10:14 - The groups of the camp of Judah went first. They marched out under their flag. Nahshon was their commander. He was the son of Amminadab.

- 1 Chronicles 5:2 - Judah also did not have the rights of the oldest son. Judah didn’t have them even though he was the leader among his brothers. And a ruler came from his family line. But the rights of the oldest son belonged to Joseph.
- Hebrews 7:14 - It is clear that our Lord came from the family line of Judah. Moses said nothing about priests who were from the tribe of Judah.
