Deuteronomy 14:6 - And every beast that parteth the hoof, and hath the hoof cloven in two, and cheweth the cud, among the beasts, that may ye eat.
Deuteronomy 14:7 - Nevertheless these ye shall not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that have the hoof cloven: the camel, and the hare, and the coney; because they chew the cud but part not the hoof, they are unclean unto you.
Deuteronomy 14:8 - And the swine, because he parteth the hoof but cheweth not the cud, he is unclean unto you: of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcasses ye shall not touch.
Deuteronomy 14:9 - These ye may eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales may ye eat;
Deuteronomy 14:10 - and whatsoever hath not fins and scales ye shall not eat; it is unclean unto you.
Deuteronomy 14:11 - Of all clean birds ye may eat.
Deuteronomy 14:12 - But these are they of which ye shall not eat: the eagle, and the gier-eagle, and the ospray,
Deuteronomy 14:13 - and the glede, and the falcon, and the kite after its kind,
Deuteronomy 14:14 - and every raven after its kind,
Deuteronomy 14:15 - and the ostrich, and the night-hawk, and the sea-mew, and the hawk after its kind,
Deuteronomy 14:16 - the little owl, and the great owl, and the horned owl,
Deuteronomy 14:17 - and the pelican, and the vulture, and the cormorant,
Deuteronomy 14:18 - and the stork, and the heron after its kind, and the hoopoe, and the bat.
Deuteronomy 14:19 - And all winged creeping things are unclean unto you: they shall not be eaten.
Deuteronomy 14:20 - Of all clean birds ye may eat.
Deuteronomy 14:21 - Ye shall not eat of anything that dieth of itself: thou mayest give it unto the sojourner that is within thy gates, that he may eat it; or thou mayest sell it unto a foreigner: for thou art a holy people unto Jehovah thy God. Thou shalt not boil a kid in its mother’s milk.
Ezekiel 44:23 - And they shall teach my people the difference between the holy and the common, and cause them to discern between the unclean and the clean.
Acts 10:11 - and he beholdeth the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet, let down by four corners upon the earth:
Acts 10:12 - wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the heaven.
Acts 10:13 - And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill and eat.
Acts 10:14 - But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean.
Acts 10:15 - And a voice came unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, make not thou common.
Leviticus 10:10 - and that ye may make a distinction between the holy and the common, and between the unclean and the clean;
Genesis 7:8 - Of clean beasts, and of beasts that are not clean, and of birds, and of everything that creepeth upon the ground,

Leviticus 11:1 - And Jehovah spake unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
Leviticus 11:2 - Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the living things which ye may eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.

Leviticus 11:8 - Of their flesh ye shall not eat, and their carcasses ye shall not touch; they are unclean unto you.
Leviticus 11:9 - These may ye eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever hath fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, that may ye eat.
Leviticus 11:10 - And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of all the living creatures that are in the waters, they are an abomination unto you,
Leviticus 11:11 - and they shall be an abomination unto you; ye shall not eat of their flesh, and their carcasses ye shall have in abomination.
Leviticus 11:12 - Whatsoever hath no fins nor scales in the waters, that is an abomination unto you.
Leviticus 11:13 - And these ye shall have in abomination among the birds; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the gier-eagle, and the ospray,

Leviticus 11:22 - even these of them ye may eat: the locust after its kind, and the bald locust after its kind, and the cricket after its kind, and the grasshopper after its kind.
Leviticus 11:23 - But all winged creeping things, which have four feet, are an abomination unto you.
Leviticus 11:24 - And by these ye shall become unclean: whosoever toucheth the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even;
Leviticus 11:25 - and whosoever beareth aught of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 11:26 - Every beast which parteth the hoof, and is not clovenfooted, nor cheweth the cud, is unclean unto you: every one that toucheth them shall be unclean.
Leviticus 11:27 - And whatsoever goeth upon its paws, among all beasts that go on all fours, they are unclean unto you: whoso toucheth their carcass shall be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 11:28 - And he that beareth the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
Leviticus 11:29 - And these are they which are unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth: the weasel, and the mouse, and the great lizard after its kind,
Leviticus 11:30 - and the gecko, and the land-crocodile, and the lizard, and the sand-lizard, and the chameleon.
Leviticus 11:31 - These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 11:32 - And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, doth fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherewith any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; then shall it be clean.
Leviticus 11:33 - And every earthen vessel, whereinto any of them falleth, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean, and it ye shall break.
Leviticus 11:34 - All food therein which may be eaten, that on which water cometh, shall be unclean; and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
Leviticus 11:35 - And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falleth shall be unclean; whether oven, or range for pots, it shall be broken in pieces: they are unclean, and shall be unclean unto you.
Leviticus 11:36 - Nevertheless a fountain or a pit wherein is a gathering of water shall be clean: but that which toucheth their carcass shall be unclean.
Leviticus 11:37 - And if aught of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it is clean.
Leviticus 11:38 - But if water be put upon the seed, and aught of their carcass fall thereon, it is unclean unto you.
Leviticus 11:39 - And if any beast, of which ye may eat, die; he that toucheth the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 11:40 - And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
Leviticus 11:41 - And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
Leviticus 11:42 - Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all fours, or whatsoever hath many feet, even all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
Leviticus 11:43 - Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.
Leviticus 11:44 - For I am Jehovah your God: sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy; for I am holy: neither shall ye defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that moveth upon the earth.
Leviticus 11:45 - For I am Jehovah that brought you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: ye shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
Leviticus 11:46 - This is the law of the beast, and of the bird, and of every living creature that moveth in the waters, and of every creature that creepeth upon the earth;
Leviticus 11:47 - to make a distinction between the unclean and the clean, and between the living thing that may be eaten and the living thing that may not be eaten.
