All the while God was validating it with gifts through the Holy Spirit, all sorts of signs and miracles, as he saw fit.

  • 2 Peter 1:13 - I think it right, as long as I am in this earthly tent, to inspire you by reminding you,

  • Proverbs 2:1 - My son, if you will receive my words And treasure my commandments within you,

  • Proverbs 2:4 - If you seek skillful and godly wisdom as you would silver And search for her as you would hidden treasures;
  • Proverbs 2:5 - Then you will understand the [reverent] fear of the Lord [that is, worshiping Him and regarding Him as truly awesome] And discover the knowledge of God.
  • Proverbs 2:6 - For the Lord gives [skillful and godly] wisdom; From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
  • Proverbs 7:1 - My son, keep my words And treasure my commandments within you [so they are readily available to guide you].
  • Proverbs 7:2 - Keep my commandments and live, And keep my teaching and law as the apple of your eye.
  • Luke 8:15 - But as for that seed in the good soil, these are the ones who have heard the word with a good and noble heart, and hold on to it tightly, and bear fruit with patience.
