  • Jeremiah 14:7 - O Lord, though our many sins testify against us” [prays Jeremiah], “Act now [for us and] for Your name’s sake [so that the faithless may witness Your faithfulness]! For our backslidings are countless; We have sinned against You.
  • Ephesians 2:4 - But God, being [so very] rich in mercy, because of His great and wonderful love with which He loved us,

  • Hosea 6:1 - “Come and let us return [in repentance] to the Lord, For He has torn us, but He will heal us; He has wounded us, but He will bandage us.
  • Isaiah 57:18 - I have seen his [willful] ways, but I will heal him; I will lead him [also] and will restore comfort to him and to those who mourn for him,
