  • Ezekiel 23:27 - So I will remove from you your outrageous sin and your prostitution that you brought from the land of Egypt, so that you will not raise your eyes to them or remember Egypt anymore.’

  • Ezekiel 23:29 - They will deal with you in hatred, take all your property, and leave you naked and bare. And the nakedness of your prostitution will be exposed, both your outrageous sin and your obscene practices.
  • Ezekiel 23:30 - These things will be done to you because you have adulterously pursued the nations, because you have defiled yourself with their idols.
  • Ezekiel 23:31 - You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will put her cup in your hand.’
  • Ezekiel 23:32 - This is what the Lord God says: ‘You will drink your sister’s cup, Which is deep and wide. You will be laughed at and held in derision; Because it contains much.
  • Ezekiel 23:33 - You will be filled with drunkenness and grief, A cup of horror and desolation, The cup of your sister Samaria.
  • Ezekiel 23:34 - And you will drink it and drain it. Then you will gnaw on its fragments And tear your breasts; for I have spoken,’ declares the Lord God.
  • Ezekiel 23:35 - Therefore, this is what the Lord God says: ‘Because you have forgotten Me and discarded Me behind your back, suffer on your own part the punishment for your outrageous sin and your obscene practices.’ ”

  • Ezekiel 23:17 - And the Babylonians came to her to the bed of love and defiled her with their obscene practice. And when she had been defiled by them, she turned away from them in disgust.

  • Ezekiel 23:31 - You have walked in the way of your sister; therefore I will put her cup in your hand.’

  • Ezekiel 7:23 - ‘Make the chain, for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
  • Hosea 7:10 - Though the pride of Israel testifies against him, Yet they have not returned to the Lord their God, Nor have they sought Him, despite all this.
  • Ezekiel 5:6 - But she has rebelled against My ordinances more wickedly than the nations, and against My statutes more than the lands which surround her; for they have rejected My ordinances and have not walked in My statutes.’
  • Hosea 4:2 - There is oath-taking, denial, murder, stealing, and adultery. They employ violence, so that bloodshed follows bloodshed.

  • Ezekiel 22:26 - Her priests have done violence to My Law and have profaned My holy things; they have made no distinction between the holy and the common, and they have not taught the difference between the unclean and the clean; and they have closed their eyes from My Sabbaths, and I am defiled among them.
  • Ezekiel 22:27 - Her leaders within her are like wolves tearing the prey, by shedding blood and destroying lives in order to make dishonest profit.
  • Ezekiel 22:28 - And her prophets have coated with whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘This is what the Lord God says,’ when the Lord has not spoken.
  • Ezekiel 22:29 - The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery, and they have oppressed the poor and needy, and have oppressed the stranger without justice.
  • Ezekiel 22:30 - I searched for a man among them who would build up a wall and stand in the gap before Me for the land, so that I would not destroy it; but I found no one.
  • Jeremiah 5:25 - Your wrongdoings have turned these away, And your sins have kept good away from you.
  • Jeremiah 5:26 - For wicked people are found among My people, They watch like fowlers lying in wait; They set a trap, They catch people.

  • Jeremiah 5:29 - Shall I not punish them for these things?’ declares the Lord, ‘Or shall I not avenge Myself On a nation such as this?’
  • Nehemiah 9:33 - However, You are righteous in everything that has happened to us; For You have dealt faithfully, but we have acted wickedly.
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:15 - who both killed the Lord Jesus and the prophets, and drove us out. They are not pleasing to God, but hostile to all people,
  • 1 Thessalonians 2:16 - hindering us from speaking to the Gentiles so that they may be saved; with the result that they always reach the limit of their sins. But wrath has come upon them fully.
  • Ezra 9:13 - And after everything that has come upon us for our evil deeds and our great guilt, since You our God have spared us by inflicting less than our wrongdoing deserves, and have given us such an escaped remnant as this,

  • Jeremiah 5:5 - I will go to the great And speak to them, For they know the way of the Lord And the judgment of their God.” But together they too have broken the yoke And burst the restraints.
  • Jeremiah 5:6 - Therefore a lion from the forest will kill them, A wolf of the deserts will destroy them, A leopard is watching their cities. Everyone who goes out of them will be torn in pieces, Because their wrongdoings are many, Their apostasies are numerous.
  • Jeremiah 5:7 - “Why should I forgive you? Your sons have forsaken Me And sworn by those who are not gods. When I had fed them to the full, They committed adultery And stayed at the prostitute’s house.
  • Jeremiah 5:8 - They were well-fed lusty horses, Each one neighing at his neighbor’s wife.
  • Jeremiah 5:9 - Shall I not punish them for these things?” declares the Lord, “And shall I not avenge Myself On a nation such as this?
  • Isaiah 1:4 - Oh, sinful nation, People weighed down with guilt, Offspring of evildoers, Sons who act corruptly! They have abandoned the Lord, They have despised the Holy One of Israel, They have turned away from Him.

  • Jeremiah 3:2 - “Raise your eyes to the bare heights and see; Where have you not been violated? You have sat for them by the roads Like an Arab in the desert, And you have defiled a land With your prostitution and your wickedness.

  • Jeremiah 14:7 - Though our wrongdoings testify against us, Lord, act for the sake of Your name! Our apostasies have indeed been many, We have sinned against You.
  • Ezra 9:6 - and I said, “My God, I am ashamed and humiliated to lift up my face to You, my God, for our wrongful deeds have risen above our heads, and our guilt has grown even to the heavens.
