  • Matthew 2:7 - Then Herod secretly called for the Wise Men. He found out from them exactly when the star had appeared.
  • Matthew 2:8 - He sent them to Bethlehem. He said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report it to me. Then I can go and worship him too.”
  • Matthew 2:9 - After the Wise Men had listened to the king, they went on their way. The star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them. It finally stopped over the place where the child was.

  • Psalm 67:2 - Then your ways will be known on earth. All nations will see that you have the power to save.
  • Psalm 67:3 - God, may the nations praise you. May all the people on earth praise you.
  • Psalm 67:4 - May the nations be glad and sing for joy. You rule the people of the earth fairly. You guide the nations of the earth.
  • Matthew 28:19 - So you must go and make disciples of all nations. Baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
  • Zechariah 2:11 - ‘At that time many nations will join themselves to me. And they will become my people. I will live among you,’ says the Lord. Then you will know that the Lord who rules over all has sent me to you.
  • Psalm 68:29 - Do it from your temple at Jerusalem, where kings will bring you gifts.
  • Revelation 11:15 - The seventh angel blew his trumpet. There were loud voices in heaven. They said, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Messiah. He will rule for ever and ever.”
  • Romans 11:11 - Again, here is what I ask. The Israelites didn’t trip and fall once and for all time, did they? Not at all! Because Israel sinned, the Gentiles can be saved. That will make Israel jealous of them.
  • Romans 11:12 - Israel’s sin brought riches to the world. Their loss brings riches to the Gentiles. So then what greater riches will come when all Israel turns to God!
  • Romans 11:13 - I am talking to you who are not Jews. I am the apostle to the Gentiles. So I take pride in the work I do for God and others.
  • Romans 11:14 - I hope somehow to stir up my own people to want what you have. Perhaps I can save some of them.
  • Romans 11:15 - When they were not accepted, it became possible for the whole world to be brought back to God. So what will happen when they are accepted? It will be like life from the dead.
  • Isaiah 11:10 - At that time, here is what the man who is called the Root of Jesse will do. He will be like a banner that brings nations together. They will come to him. And the place where he rules will be glorious.
  • Matthew 2:1 - Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea. This happened while Herod was king of Judea. After Jesus’ birth, Wise Men from the east came to Jerusalem.
  • Matthew 2:2 - They asked, “Where is the child who has been born to be king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose. Now we have come to worship him.”
  • Matthew 2:3 - When King Herod heard about it, he was very upset. Everyone in Jerusalem was troubled too.
  • Matthew 2:4 - So Herod called together all the chief priests of the people. He also called the teachers of the law. He asked them where the Messiah was going to be born.
  • Matthew 2:5 - “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied. “This is what the prophet has written. He said,
  • Matthew 2:6 - “ ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are certainly not the least important among the towns of Judah. A ruler will come out of you. He will rule my people Israel like a shepherd.’ ” ( Micah 5:2 )
  • Matthew 2:7 - Then Herod secretly called for the Wise Men. He found out from them exactly when the star had appeared.
  • Matthew 2:8 - He sent them to Bethlehem. He said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him, report it to me. Then I can go and worship him too.”
  • Matthew 2:9 - After the Wise Men had listened to the king, they went on their way. The star they had seen when it rose went ahead of them. It finally stopped over the place where the child was.
  • Matthew 2:10 - When they saw the star, they were filled with joy.
  • Matthew 2:11 - The Wise Men went to the house. There they saw the child with his mother Mary. They bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures. They gave him gold, frankincense and myrrh.
  • John 12:20 - There were some Greeks among the people who went up to worship during the feast.
  • John 12:21 - They came to ask Philip for a favor. Philip was from Bethsaida in Galilee. “Sir,” they said, “we would like to see Jesus.”
  • Amos 9:12 - Then my people will take control of those who are left alive in Edom. They will also possess all the nations that belong to me,” announces the Lord. He will do all these things.
  • Psalm 22:27 - People from one end of the earth to the other will remember and turn to the Lord. The people of all the nations will bow down in front of him.
  • Psalm 98:2 - The Lord has made known his power to save. He has shown the nations that he does what is right.
  • Psalm 98:3 - He has shown his faithful love to the people of Israel. People from one end of the earth to the other have seen that our God has saved us.
  • Isaiah 19:23 - At that time there will be a wide road from Egypt to Assyria. The people of Assyria will go to Egypt. And the people of Egypt will go to Assyria. The people of Egypt and Assyria will worship the Lord together.
  • Isaiah 19:24 - At that time Egypt, Assyria and Israel will be a blessing to the whole earth.
  • Isaiah 19:25 - The Lord who rules over all will bless those three nations. He will say, “Let the Egyptians be blessed. They are my people. Let the Assyrians be blessed. My hands created them. And let the Israelites be blessed. They are my very own people.”
  • Isaiah 60:10 - “People from other lands will rebuild your walls. Their kings will serve you. When I was angry with you, I struck you. But now I will show you my tender love.
  • Psalm 72:17 - May the king’s name be remembered forever. May his fame last as long as the sun shines. Then all nations will be blessed because of him. They will call him blessed.
  • Psalm 72:18 - Give praise to the Lord God, the God of Israel. Only he can do wonderful things.
  • Psalm 72:19 - Give praise to his glorious name forever. May his glory fill the whole earth. Amen and Amen.
  • Psalm 2:10 - Kings, be wise! Rulers of the earth, be warned!
  • Romans 15:9 - Jesus became a servant of the Jews. He did this so that the Gentiles might give glory to God for his mercy. It is written, “I will praise you among the Gentiles. I will sing the praises of your name.” ( 2 Samuel 22:50 ; Psalm 18:49 )
  • Romans 15:10 - Again it says, “You Gentiles, be full of joy. Be joyful together with God’s people.” ( Deuteronomy 32:43 )
  • Romans 15:11 - And again it says, “All you Gentiles, praise the Lord. Let all the nations sing praises to him.” ( Psalm 117:1 )
  • Romans 15:12 - And Isaiah says, “The Root of Jesse will grow up quickly. He will rule over the nations. The Gentiles will put their hope in him.” ( Isaiah 11:10 )
  • Isaiah 49:12 - They will come from far away. Some of them will come from the north. Others will come from the west. Still others will come from Aswan in the south.”
  • Isaiah 49:6 - Here is what the Lord says to me. “It is not enough for you as my servant to bring the tribes of Jacob back to their land. It is not enough for you to bring back the people of Israel I have kept alive. I will also make you a light for the Gentiles. Then you will make it possible for the whole world to be saved.”
  • Isaiah 49:7 - The Lord sets his people free. He is the Holy One of Israel. He speaks to his servant, who is looked down on and hated by the nations. He speaks to the servant of rulers. He says to him, “Kings will see you and stand up to honor you. Princes will see you and bow down to show you their respect. I am the Lord. I am faithful. I am the Holy One of Israel. I have chosen you.”
  • Isaiah 54:1 - “Jerusalem, sing! You are now like a woman who never had a child. Burst into song! Shout for joy! You who have never had labor pains, you are now all alone. But you will have more children than a woman who still has a husband,” says the Lord.
  • Isaiah 54:2 - “Make a large area for your tent. Spread out its curtains. Go ahead and make your tent wider. Make its ropes longer. Drive the stakes down deeper.
  • Isaiah 54:3 - You will spread out to the right and the left. Your children after you will drive out the nations that are now living in your land. They will make their homes in the deserted cities of those nations.
  • Micah 4:1 - In the last days the mountain where the Lord’s temple is located will be famous. It will be the highest mountain of all. It will be lifted up above the hills. And nations will go to it.
  • Micah 4:2 - People from many nations will go there. They will say, “Come, let us go up to the Lord’s mountain. Let’s go to the temple of Jacob’s God. He will teach us how we should live. Then we will live the way he wants us to.” The law of the Lord will be taught at Zion. His message will go out from Jerusalem.
  • Psalm 117:1 - All you nations, praise the Lord. All you people on earth, praise him.
  • Psalm 117:2 - Great is his love for us. The Lord is faithful forever. Praise the Lord.
  • Isaiah 45:14 - The Lord says to the people of Jerusalem, “You will get everything Egypt produces. You will receive everything the people of Cush and the tall Sabeans get in trade. All of it will belong to you. And all these people will walk behind you as slaves. They will be put in chains and come over to you. They will bow down to you. They will admit, ‘God is with you. There is no other God.’ ”
  • Isaiah 60:16 - You will get everything you need from kings and nations. You will be like children who are nursing at their mother’s breasts. Then you will know that I am the one who saves you. I am the Lord. I set you free. I am the Mighty One of Jacob.
  • Psalm 138:4 - Lord, may all the kings on earth praise you when they hear about what you have decided.
  • Zechariah 8:20 - He continued, “Many nations will still come to you. And those who live in many cities will also come.
  • Zechariah 8:21 - The people who live in one city will go to another city. They will say, ‘Let’s go right away to ask the Lord for his blessing. Let’s look to him as our God. We ourselves are going.’
  • Zechariah 8:22 - Large numbers of people and nations will come to Jerusalem. They will look to me. They will ask me to bless them.”
  • Zechariah 8:23 - He continued, “At that time many people of all nations and languages will take hold of one Jew. They will grab hold of the hem of his robe. And they will say, ‘We want to go to Jerusalem with you. We’ve heard that God is with you.’ ”
  • Acts 13:47 - This is what the Lord has commanded us to do. He said, “ ‘I have made you a light for the Gentiles. You will bring salvation to the whole earth.’ ” ( Isaiah 49:6 )
  • Revelation 21:24 - The nations will walk by the light of the city. The kings of the world will bring their glory into it.
  • Isaiah 49:23 - Their kings will become like fathers to you. Their queens will be like mothers who nurse you. They will bow down to you with their faces toward the ground. They will kiss the dust at your feet to show you their respect. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Those who put their hope in me will not be ashamed.”
