Jeremiah 25:34 - “Wail, you shepherds, and cry out, and roll in ashes, you lords of the flock, for the days of your slaughter and dispersion have come, and you shall fall like a choice vessel.
Jeremiah 25:35 - No refuge will remain for the shepherds, nor escape for the lords of the flock.
Jeremiah 25:36 - A voice—the cry of the shepherds, and the wail of the lords of the flock! For the Lord is laying waste their pasture,
Jeremiah 23:11 - “Both prophet and priest are ungodly; even in my house I have found their evil, declares the Lord.
Jeremiah 23:12 - Therefore their way shall be to them like slippery paths in the darkness, into which they shall be driven and fall, for I will bring disaster upon them in the year of their punishment, declares the Lord.

Jeremiah 23:15 - Therefore thus says the Lord of hosts concerning the prophets: “Behold, I will feed them with bitter food and give them poisoned water to drink, for from the prophets of Jerusalem ungodliness has gone out into all the land.”
Ezekiel 34:21 - Because you push with side and shoulder, and thrust at all the weak with your horns, till you have scattered them abroad,
John 10:12 - He who is a hired hand and not a shepherd, who does not own the sheep, sees the wolf coming and leaves the sheep and flees, and the wolf snatches them and scatters them.

John 10:10 - The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
Ezekiel 22:25 - The conspiracy of her prophets in her midst is like a roaring lion tearing the prey; they have devoured human lives; they have taken treasure and precious things; they have made many widows in her midst.
Ezekiel 22:26 - Her priests have done violence to my law and have profaned my holy things. They have made no distinction between the holy and the common, neither have they taught the difference between the unclean and the clean, and they have disregarded my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them.
Ezekiel 22:27 - Her princes in her midst are like wolves tearing the prey, shedding blood, destroying lives to get dishonest gain.
Ezekiel 22:28 - And her prophets have smeared whitewash for them, seeing false visions and divining lies for them, saying, ‘Thus says the Lord God,’ when the Lord has not spoken.
Ezekiel 22:29 - The people of the land have practiced extortion and committed robbery. They have oppressed the poor and needy, and have extorted from the sojourner without justice.
Matthew 23:13 - “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you shut the kingdom of heaven in people’s faces. For you neither enter yourselves nor allow those who would enter to go in.
Matthew 23:15 - Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you travel across sea and land to make a single proselyte, and when he becomes a proselyte, you make him twice as much a child of hell as yourselves.
Matthew 23:16 - “Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘If anyone swears by the temple, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gold of the temple, he is bound by his oath.’
Matthew 23:17 - You blind fools! For which is greater, the gold or the temple that has made the gold sacred?
Matthew 23:18 - And you say, ‘If anyone swears by the altar, it is nothing, but if anyone swears by the gift that is on the altar, he is bound by his oath.’
Matthew 23:19 - You blind men! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that makes the gift sacred?
Matthew 23:20 - So whoever swears by the altar swears by it and by everything on it.
Matthew 23:21 - And whoever swears by the temple swears by it and by him who dwells in it.
Matthew 23:22 - And whoever swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him who sits upon it.
Matthew 23:23 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cumin, and have neglected the weightier matters of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness. These you ought to have done, without neglecting the others.
Matthew 23:24 - You blind guides, straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel!
Matthew 23:25 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and the plate, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence.
Matthew 23:26 - You blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and the plate, that the outside also may be clean.
Matthew 23:27 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs, which outwardly appear beautiful, but within are full of dead people’s bones and all uncleanness.
Matthew 23:28 - So you also outwardly appear righteous to others, but within you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
Matthew 23:29 - “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments of the righteous,
Micah 3:11 - Its heads give judgment for a bribe; its priests teach for a price; its prophets practice divination for money; yet they lean on the Lord and say, “Is not the Lord in the midst of us? No disaster shall come upon us.”
Micah 3:12 - Therefore because of you Zion shall be plowed as a field; Jerusalem shall become a heap of ruins, and the mountain of the house a wooded height.
Matthew 15:14 - Let them alone; they are blind guides. And if the blind lead the blind, both will fall into a pit.”

Luke 11:46 - And he said, “Woe to you lawyers also! For you load people with burdens hard to bear, and you yourselves do not touch the burdens with one of your fingers.
Luke 11:47 - Woe to you! For you build the tombs of the prophets whom your fathers killed.
Luke 11:48 - So you are witnesses and you consent to the deeds of your fathers, for they killed them, and you build their tombs.
Luke 11:49 - Therefore also the Wisdom of God said, ‘I will send them prophets and apostles, some of whom they will kill and persecute,’
Luke 11:50 - so that the blood of all the prophets, shed from the foundation of the world, may be charged against this generation,
Luke 11:51 - from the blood of Abel to the blood of Zechariah, who perished between the altar and the sanctuary. Yes, I tell you, it will be required of this generation.
Luke 11:52 - Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter yourselves, and you hindered those who were entering.”
Jeremiah 12:10 - Many shepherds have destroyed my vineyard; they have trampled down my portion; they have made my pleasant portion a desolate wilderness.
Ezekiel 13:3 - Thus says the Lord God, Woe to the foolish prophets who follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
Matthew 9:36 - When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd.

Ezekiel 34:5 - So they were scattered, because there was no shepherd, and they became food for all the wild beasts. My sheep were scattered;
Ezekiel 34:6 - they wandered over all the mountains and on every high hill. My sheep were scattered over all the face of the earth, with none to search or seek for them.
Ezekiel 34:7 - “Therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
Ezekiel 34:8 - As I live, declares the Lord God, surely because my sheep have become a prey, and my sheep have become food for all the wild beasts, since there was no shepherd, and because my shepherds have not searched for my sheep, but the shepherds have fed themselves, and have not fed my sheep,
Ezekiel 34:9 - therefore, you shepherds, hear the word of the Lord:
Ezekiel 34:10 - Thus says the Lord God, Behold, I am against the shepherds, and I will require my sheep at their hand and put a stop to their feeding the sheep. No longer shall the shepherds feed themselves. I will rescue my sheep from their mouths, that they may not be food for them.
Zechariah 11:15 - Then the Lord said to me, “Take once more the equipment of a foolish shepherd.
Zechariah 11:16 - For behold, I am raising up in the land a shepherd who does not care for those being destroyed, or seek the young or heal the maimed or nourish the healthy, but devours the flesh of the fat ones, tearing off even their hoofs.
Zechariah 11:17 - “Woe to my worthless shepherd, who deserts the flock! May the sword strike his arm and his right eye! Let his arm be wholly withered, his right eye utterly blinded!”
Jeremiah 10:21 - For the shepherds are stupid and do not inquire of the Lord; therefore they have not prospered, and all their flock is scattered.
