Daniel 9:5 - nós temos cometido pecado e somos culpados. Temos sido ímpios e rebeldes, e nos afastamos dos teus mandamentos e das tuas leis.
Daniel 9:6 - Não demos ouvido aos teus servos, os profetas, que falaram em teu nome aos nossos reis, aos nossos líderes e aos nossos antepassados, e a todo o teu povo.
Daniel 9:7 - “Senhor, tu és justo, e hoje estamos envergonhados. Sim, nós, o povo de Judá, de Jerusalém e de todo o Israel, tanto os que estão perto como os que estão distantes, em todas as terras pelas quais nos espalhaste por causa de nossa infidelidade para contigo.
Daniel 9:8 - Ó Senhor, nós e nossos reis, nossos líderes e nossos antepassados estamos envergonhados por termos pecado contra ti.
Jeremias 44:15 - Então, todos os homens que sabiam que as suas mulheres queimavam incenso a outros deuses, e todas as mulheres que estavam presentes, em grande número, e todo o povo que morava no Egito, e na região de Patros, disseram a Jeremias:
Jeremias 44:16 - “Nós não daremos atenção à mensagem que você nos apresenta em nome do Senhor!
Jeremias 44:17 - É certo que faremos tudo o que dissemos que faríamos—queimaremos incenso à Rainha dos Céus e derramaremos ofertas de bebidas para ela, tal como fazíamos, nós e nossos antepassados, nossos reis e nossos líderes, nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém. Naquela época, tínhamos fartura de comida, éramos prósperos e nada sofríamos.
Jeremias 44:18 - Mas, desde que paramos de queimar incenso à Rainha dos Céus e de derramar ofertas de bebidas a ela, nada temos tido e temos perecido pela espada e pela fome”.
Jeremias 44:19 - E as mulheres acrescentaram: “Quando queimávamos incenso à Rainha dos Céus e derramávamos ofertas de bebidas para ela, será que era sem o consentimento de nossos maridos que fazíamos bolos na forma da imagem dela e derramávamos as ofertas de bebidas?”
Josué 22:17 - Já não nos bastou o pecado de Peor? Até hoje não nos purificamos daquele pecado, muito embora uma praga tenha caído sobre a comunidade do Senhor!
Josué 22:18 - E agora vocês estão abandonando o Senhor! “ ‘Se hoje vocês se rebelarem contra o Senhor, amanhã a sua ira cairá sobre toda a comunidade de Israel.
Josué 22:19 - Se a terra que vocês receberam como propriedade está contaminada, passem então para a terra que pertence ao Senhor, onde está o tabernáculo do Senhor, e se apossem de um território entre nós. Mas não se rebelem contra o Senhor nem contra nós, construindo para vocês um altar que não seja o altar do Senhor, o nosso Deus.
Josué 22:20 - Quando Acã, filho de Zerá, foi infiel com relação às coisas consagradas, não caiu a ira sobre toda a comunidade de Israel? E ele não foi o único que morreu por causa do seu pecado’ ”.
Jeremias 44:21 - “E o Senhor? Não se lembra ele do incenso queimado nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém por vocês e por seus antepassados, seus reis e seus líderes e pelo povo da terra? Será que ele não pensa nisso?
Esdras 9:7 - Desde os dias dos nossos antepassados até agora, a nossa culpa tem sido grande. Por causa dos nossos pecados, nós, os nossos reis e os nossos sacerdotes temos sido entregues à espada e ao cativeiro, ao despojo e à humilhação nas mãos de reis estrangeiros, como acontece hoje.
Esdras 9:8 - Mas agora, por um breve momento, o Senhor, o nosso Deus, foi misericordioso, deixando-nos um remanescente e dando-nos um lugar seguro em seu santuário, e dessa maneira o nosso Deus ilumina os nossos olhos e nos dá um pequeno alívio em nossa escravidão.
Esdras 9:9 - Somos escravos, mas o nosso Deus não nos abandonou na escravidão. Ele tem sido bondoso para conosco diante dos reis da Pérsia: ele nos deu vida nova para reconstruir o templo do nosso Deus e levantar suas ruínas, e nos deu um muro de proteção em Judá e em Jerusalém.
Esdras 9:10 - E agora, ó nosso Deus, o que podemos dizer depois disso? Pois nós abandonamos os mandamentos que
Esdras 9:11 - nos deste por meio dos teus servos, os profetas, quando disseste: “A terra que vocês estão conquistando está contaminada pelas práticas repugnantes dos seus povos. Com essas práticas eles encheram de impureza toda essa terra.
Esdras 9:12 - Por isso, não deem as suas filhas em casamento aos filhos deles, nem aceitem as filhas deles para os filhos de vocês. Nunca procurem o bem-estar e a prosperidade desses povos, para que vocês sejam fortes e desfrutem os bons produtos da terra, e a deixem para os seus filhos como herança eterna”.
Esdras 9:13 - Depois de tudo o que nos aconteceu por causa de nossas más obras e por causa de nossa grande culpa, apesar de nos teres punido menos do que os nossos pecados mereciam, ó Deus, e ainda nos teres dado um remanescente como este,
Esdras 9:14 - como podemos voltar a quebrar os teus mandamentos e a realizar casamentos mistos com esses povos de práticas repugnantes? Como não ficarias irado conosco, não nos destruirias, e não nos deixarias sem remanescente ou sobrevivente algum?
Esdras 9:15 - Ó Senhor, Deus de Israel, tu és justo! E até hoje nos deixaste sobreviver como um remanescente. Aqui estamos diante de ti com a nossa culpa, embora saibamos que por causa dela nenhum de nós pode permanecer na tua presença.
Jeremias 7:17 - Não vê o que estão fazendo nas cidades de Judá e nas ruas de Jerusalém?
Jeremias 7:18 - Os filhos ajuntam a lenha, os pais acendem o fogo, e as mulheres preparam a massa e fazem bolos para a Rainha dos Céus. Além disso, derramam ofertas a outros deuses para provocarem a minha ira.
