  • Romans 10:6 - But the righteousness which is of faith says this, “Don’t say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down);
  • Romans 10:7 - or, ‘Who will descend into the abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead.)”
  • Romans 10:8 - But what does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth, and in your heart;” that is, the word of faith which we preach:
  • Romans 10:9 - that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
  • Romans 10:10 - For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation.
  • John 9:28 - They insulted him and said, “You are his disciple, but we are disciples of Moses.
  • John 9:29 - We know that God has spoken to Moses. But as for this man, we don’t know where he comes from.”
  • Romans 3:19 - Now we know that whatever things the law says, it speaks to those who are under the law, that every mouth may be closed, and all the world may be brought under the judgment of God.
  • Romans 3:20 - Because by the works of the law, no flesh will be justified in his sight; for through the law comes the knowledge of sin.
