  • Acts 5:13 - No outsider dared to join them. But the people thought highly of them.

  • John 7:52 - They replied, “Are you from Galilee too? Look into it. You will find that a prophet does not come out of Galilee.”
  • Isaiah 57:11 - “Who are you so afraid of that you have not been faithful to me? You have not remembered me. What you do doesn’t even bother you. I have not punished you for a long time. That is why you are not afraid of me.
  • John 9:34 - Then the Pharisees replied, “When you were born, you were already deep in sin. How dare you talk like that to us!” And they threw him out of the synagogue.
  • Luke 6:22 - Blessed are you when people hate you, when they have nothing to do with you and say bad things about you, and when they treat your name as something evil. They do all this because you are followers of the Son of Man.
  • John 16:2 - You will be thrown out of the synagogue. In fact, the time is coming when someone may kill you. And they will think they are doing God a favor.
  • John 7:13 - But no one would say anything about him openly. They were afraid of the leaders.
