Job 1:22 - Through all this Job did not sin nor did he blame God.
Lamentations 3:38 - Is it not from the mouth of the Most High That both adversity (misfortune) and good (prosperity, happiness) proceed?
Lamentations 3:39 - Why should any living mortal, or any man, Complain [of punishment] in view of his sins?
Lamentations 3:40 - Let us test and examine our ways, And let us return to the Lord.
Lamentations 3:41 - Let us lift up our hearts and our hands [in prayer] Toward God in heaven;
James 1:12 - Blessed [happy, spiritually prosperous, favored by God] is the man who is steadfast under trial and perseveres when tempted; for when he has passed the test and been approved, he will receive the [victor’s] crown of life which the Lord has promised to those who love Him.
