  • Joshua 13:6 - and all the hill country from Lebanon to Misrephoth-maim, including all the land of the Sidonians. “I myself will drive these people out of the land ahead of the Israelites. So be sure to give this land to Israel as a special possession, just as I have commanded you.
  • Joshua 20:7 - The following cities were designated as cities of refuge: Kedesh of Galilee, in the hill country of Naphtali; Shechem, in the hill country of Ephraim; and Kiriath-arba (that is, Hebron), in the hill country of Judah.
  • Isaiah 51:12 - “I, yes I, am the one who comforts you. So why are you afraid of mere humans, who wither like the grass and disappear?

  • Joshua 17:16 - The descendants of Joseph responded, “It’s true that the hill country is not large enough for us. But all the Canaanites in the lowlands have iron chariots, both those in Beth-shan and its surrounding settlements and those in the valley of Jezreel. They are too strong for us.”

  • Deuteronomy 20:1 - “When you go out to fight your enemies and you face horses and chariots and an army greater than your own, do not be afraid. The Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, is with you!
  • Deuteronomy 20:2 - When you prepare for battle, the priest must come forward to speak to the troops.
  • Deuteronomy 20:3 - He will say to them, ‘Listen to me, all you men of Israel! Do not be afraid as you go out to fight your enemies today! Do not lose heart or panic or tremble before them.
  • Deuteronomy 20:4 - For the Lord your God is going with you! He will fight for you against your enemies, and he will give you victory!’
  • Joshua 11:4 - All these kings came out to fight. Their combined armies formed a vast horde. And with all their horses and chariots, they covered the landscape like the sand on the seashore.
  • Joshua 11:5 - The kings joined forces and established their camp around the water near Merom to fight against Israel.
  • Joshua 11:6 - Then the Lord said to Joshua, “Do not be afraid of them. By this time tomorrow I will hand all of them over to Israel as dead men. Then you must cripple their horses and burn their chariots.”
  • Isaiah 41:10 - Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be discouraged, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you. I will hold you up with my victorious right hand.
  • Isaiah 41:11 - “See, all your angry enemies lie there, confused and humiliated. Anyone who opposes you will die and come to nothing.
  • Isaiah 41:12 - You will look in vain for those who tried to conquer you. Those who attack you will come to nothing.

  • Isaiah 41:14 - Though you are a lowly worm, O Jacob, don’t be afraid, people of Israel, for I will help you. I am the Lord, your Redeemer. I am the Holy One of Israel.’
  • Isaiah 41:15 - You will be a new threshing instrument with many sharp teeth. You will tear your enemies apart, making chaff of mountains.
  • Isaiah 41:16 - You will toss them into the air, and the wind will blow them all away; a whirlwind will scatter them. Then you will rejoice in the Lord. You will glory in the Holy One of Israel.
  • Numbers 14:6 - Two of the men who had explored the land, Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, tore their clothing.
  • Numbers 14:7 - They said to all the people of Israel, “The land we traveled through and explored is a wonderful land!
  • Numbers 14:8 - And if the Lord is pleased with us, he will bring us safely into that land and give it to us. It is a rich land flowing with milk and honey.
  • Numbers 14:9 - Do not rebel against the Lord, and don’t be afraid of the people of the land. They are only helpless prey to us! They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don’t be afraid of them!”
  • Hebrews 13:6 - So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, so I will have no fear. What can mere people do to me?”
  • Romans 8:31 - What shall we say about such wonderful things as these? If God is for us, who can ever be against us?
  • Romans 8:37 - No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
