Jeremias 6:13 - “Desde o menor até o maior, todos são gananciosos; profetas e sacerdotes igualmente, todos praticam o engano.
João 10:12 - O assalariado não é o pastor a quem as ovelhas pertencem. Assim, quando vê que o lobo vem, abandona as ovelhas e foge. Então o lobo ataca o rebanho e o dispersa.

Amós 5:23 - Afastem de mim o som das suas canções e a música das suas liras.

Oseias 5:6 - Quando eles forem buscar o Senhor com todos os seus rebanhos e com todo o seu gado, não o encontrarão; ele se afastou deles.
Miqueias 3:11 - Seus líderes julgam sob suborno, seus sacerdotes ensinam visando lucro, e seus profetas adivinham em troca de prata. E ainda se apoiam no Senhor, dizendo: “O Senhor está no meio de nós. Nenhuma desgraça nos acontecerá”.
1 Pedro 5:2 - pastoreiem o rebanho de Deus que está aos seus cuidados. Olhem por ele, não por obrigação, mas de livre vontade, como Deus quer. Não façam isso por ganância, mas com o desejo de servir.
Isaías 1:11 - “Para que me oferecem tantos sacrifícios?”, pergunta o Senhor. “Para mim, chega de holocaustos de carneiros e da gordura de novilhos gordos. Não tenho nenhum prazer no sangue de novilhos, de cordeiros e de bodes!

Isaías 1:13 - Parem de trazer ofertas inúteis! O incenso de vocês é repugnante para mim. Luas novas, sábados e reuniões! Não consigo suportar suas assembleias cheias de iniquidade.
Isaías 1:14 - Suas festas da lua nova e suas festas fixas, eu as odeio. Tornaram-se um fardo para mim; não as suporto mais!
Isaías 1:15 - Quando vocês estenderem as mãos em oração, esconderei de vocês os meus olhos; mesmo que multipliquem as suas orações, não as escutarei! “As suas mãos estão cheias de sangue!
Jeremias 8:10 - Por isso, entregarei as suas mulheres a outros homens, e darei os seus campos a outros proprietários. Desde o menor até o maior, todos são gananciosos; tanto os sacerdotes como os profetas, todos praticam a falsidade.
Jeremias 14:12 - Ainda que jejuem, não escutarei o clamor deles; ainda que ofereçam holocaustos e ofertas de cereal, não os aceitarei. Mas eu os destruirei pela guerra, pela fome e pela peste”.
Jeremias 6:20 - De que me serve o incenso trazido de Sabá, ou o cálamo aromático de uma terra distante? Os seus holocaustos não são aceitáveis nem me agradam as suas ofertas”.
