Jeremiah 29:32 - this is what the Lord says: I will surely punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite and his descendants. He will have no one left among this people, nor will he see the good things I will do for my people, declares the Lord, because he has preached rebellion against me.’ ”
Ezekiel 13:12 - When the wall collapses, will people not ask you, “Where is the whitewash you covered it with?”
Ezekiel 13:13 - “ ‘Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: In my wrath I will unleash a violent wind, and in my anger hailstones and torrents of rain will fall with destructive fury.

Luke 20:46 - “Beware of the teachers of the law. They like to walk around in flowing robes and love to be greeted with respect in the marketplaces and have the most important seats in the synagogues and the places of honor at banquets.
Luke 20:47 - They devour widows’ houses and for a show make lengthy prayers. These men will be punished most severely.”
Jeremiah 29:20 - Therefore, hear the word of the Lord, all you exiles whom I have sent away from Jerusalem to Babylon.

Mark 7:14 - Again Jesus called the crowd to him and said, “Listen to me, everyone, and understand this.
Matthew 19:17 - “Why do you ask me about what is good?” Jesus replied. “There is only One who is good. If you want to enter life, keep the commandments.”
Matthew 19:18 - “Which ones?” he inquired. Jesus replied, “ ‘You shall not murder, you shall not commit adultery, you shall not steal, you shall not give false testimony,
Romans 7:7 - What shall we say, then? Is the law sinful? Certainly not! Nevertheless, I would not have known what sin was had it not been for the law. For I would not have known what coveting really was if the law had not said, “You shall not covet.”
Romans 7:8 - But sin, seizing the opportunity afforded by the commandment, produced in me every kind of coveting. For apart from the law, sin was dead.
Romans 7:9 - Once I was alive apart from the law; but when the commandment came, sin sprang to life and I died.

Malachi 2:8 - But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble; you have violated the covenant with Levi,” says the Lord Almighty.

Matthew 5:22 - But I tell you that anyone who is angry with a brother or sister will be subject to judgment. Again, anyone who says to a brother or sister, ‘Raca,’ is answerable to the court. And anyone who says, ‘You fool!’ will be in danger of the fire of hell.
Matthew 5:33 - “Again, you have heard that it was said to the people long ago, ‘Do not break your oath, but fulfill to the Lord the vows you have made.’
Matthew 5:34 - But I tell you, do not swear an oath at all: either by heaven, for it is God’s throne;
Matthew 5:35 - or by the earth, for it is his footstool; or by Jerusalem, for it is the city of the Great King.
Matthew 5:36 - And do not swear by your head, for you cannot make even one hair white or black.
