- 1 Corinthians 3:13 - But on the judgment day, fire will reveal what kind of work each builder has done. The fire will show if a person’s work has any value.
- 1 Corinthians 3:14 - If the work survives, that builder will receive a reward.
- 1 Corinthians 3:15 - But if the work is burned up, the builder will suffer great loss. The builder will be saved, but like someone barely escaping through a wall of flames.
- Isaiah 4:4 - The Lord will wash the filth from beautiful Zion and cleanse Jerusalem of its bloodstains with the hot breath of fiery judgment.
- Zechariah 13:9 - I will bring that group through the fire and make them pure. I will refine them like silver and purify them like gold. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, ‘These are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’”
