Revelation 3:16 - So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will vomit you out of my mouth.

Acts 5:1 - But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira, his wife, sold a possession,
Acts 5:2 - and kept back part of the price, his wife also being aware of it, then brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Acts 5:3 - But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and to keep back part of the price of the land?
Acts 5:4 - While you kept it, didn’t it remain your own? After it was sold, wasn’t it in your power? How is it that you have conceived this thing in your heart? You haven’t lied to men, but to God.”
Acts 5:5 - Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and died. Great fear came on all who heard these things.
Acts 5:6 - The young men arose and wrapped him up, and they carried him out and buried him.
Acts 5:7 - About three hours later, his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.
Acts 5:8 - Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much.” She said, “Yes, for so much.”
Acts 5:9 - But Peter asked her, “How is it that you have agreed together to tempt the Spirit of the Lord? Behold, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.”
Acts 5:10 - She fell down immediately at his feet and died. The young men came in and found her dead, and they carried her out and buried her by her husband.
2 Peter 2:1 - But false prophets also arose among the people, as false teachers will also be among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, denying even the Master who bought them, bringing on themselves swift destruction.
2 Peter 2:2 - Many will follow their immoral ways, and as a result, the way of the truth will be maligned.
2 Peter 2:3 - In covetousness they will exploit you with deceptive words: whose sentence now from of old doesn’t linger, and their destruction will not slumber.

1 Corinthians 10:8 - Let’s not commit sexual immorality, as some of them committed, and in one day twenty-three thousand fell.
1 Corinthians 10:9 - Let’s not test Christ, as some of them tested, and perished by the serpents.
1 Corinthians 10:10 - Don’t grumble, as some of them also grumbled, and perished by the destroyer.
1 Corinthians 10:11 - Now all these things happened to them by way of example, and they were written for our admonition, on whom the ends of the ages have come.

2 Peter 2:17 - These are wells without water, clouds driven by a storm; for whom the blackness of darkness has been reserved forever.
2 Peter 2:18 - For, uttering great swelling words of emptiness, they entice in the lusts of the flesh, by licentiousness, those who are indeed escaping from those who live in error;
2 Peter 2:19 - promising them liberty, while they themselves are bondservants of corruption; for a man is brought into bondage by whoever overcomes him.
2 Peter 2:20 - For if, after they have escaped the defilement of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they are again entangled in it and overcome, the last state has become worse for them than the first.
2 Peter 2:21 - For it would be better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than after knowing it, to turn back from the holy commandment delivered to them.
2 Peter 2:22 - But it has happened to them according to the true proverb, “The dog turns to his own vomit again,” and “the sow that has washed to wallowing in the mire.”
