Hebrews 5:7 - In the days of his flesh, Jesus offered up prayers and supplications, with loud cries and tears, to him who was able to save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverence.
Psalms 69:13 - But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.
Psalms 69:14 - Deliver me from sinking in the mire; let me be delivered from my enemies and from the deep waters.
Psalms 69:15 - Let not the flood sweep over me, or the deep swallow me up, or the pit close its mouth over me.
Luke 22:39 - And he came out and went, as was his custom, to the Mount of Olives, and the disciples followed him.
Luke 22:40 - And when he came to the place, he said to them, “Pray that you may not enter into temptation.”

Luke 22:45 - And when he rose from prayer, he came to the disciples and found them sleeping for sorrow,
Luke 22:46 - and he said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Rise and pray that you may not enter into temptation.”
Matthew 26:42 - Again, for the second time, he went away and prayed, “My Father, if this cannot pass unless I drink it, your will be done.”
Matthew 26:39 - And going a little farther he fell on his face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me; nevertheless, not as I will, but as you will.”
