Psalms 22:1 - My God, my God, why have You forsaken me? Far from my help are the words of my groaning.
Psalms 22:2 - My God, I cry out by day, but You do not answer; And by night, but I have no rest.
Hebrews 5:7 - In the days of His humanity, He offered up both prayers and pleas with loud crying and tears to the One able to save Him from death, and He was heard because of His devout behavior.
Psalms 69:13 - But as for me, my prayer is to You, Lord, at an acceptable time; God, in the greatness of Your mercy, Answer me with Your saving truth.
Psalms 69:14 - Rescue me from the mud and do not let me sink; May I be rescued from those who hate me, and from the depths of water.
Psalms 69:15 - May the flood of water not overflow me Nor the deep swallow me up, Nor the pit close its mouth on me.
Luke 22:39 - And He came out and went, as was His habit, to the Mount of Olives; and the disciples also followed Him.
Luke 22:40 - Now when He arrived at the place, He said to them, “Pray that you do not come into temptation.”
Luke 22:41 - And He withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and He knelt down and began to pray,
Luke 22:42 - saying, “Father, if You are willing, remove this cup from Me; yet not My will, but Yours be done.”
Luke 22:43 - [ Now an angel from heaven appeared to Him, strengthening Him.
Luke 22:44 - And being in agony, He was praying very fervently; and His sweat became like drops of blood, falling down upon the ground].
Luke 22:45 - When He rose from prayer, He came to the disciples and found them sleeping from sorrow,
Luke 22:46 - and He said to them, “Why are you sleeping? Get up and pray that you do not come into temptation.”
Matthew 26:42 - He went away again a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cup cannot pass away unless I drink from it, Your will be done.”
Matthew 26:39 - And He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.”
