  • Matthew 9:18 - While He was saying these things to them, a ruler (synagogue official) entered [the house] and kneeled down and worshiped Him, saying, “My daughter has just now died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live.”
  • Matthew 13:58 - And He did not do many miracles there [in Nazareth] because of their unbelief.

  • 2 Kings 5:1 - Now Naaman, commander of the army of the king of Aram (Syria), was considered a great man by his king, and was highly respected because through Naaman the Lord had given victory to Aram (Syria). He was also a man of courage, but he was a leper.

  • Matthew 9:29 - Then He touched their eyes, saying, “According to your faith [your trust and confidence in My power and My ability to heal] it will be done to you.”
  • Mark 1:40 - And a leper came to Him, begging Him and falling on his knees before Him, saying, “If You are willing, You are able to make me clean.”
  • Mark 1:41 - Moved with compassion [for his suffering], Jesus reached out with His hand and touched him, and said to him, “I am willing; be cleansed.”
  • Mark 1:42 - The leprosy left him immediately and he was cleansed [completely healed and restored to health].
  • Mark 1:43 - And Jesus [deeply moved] admonished him sternly and sent him away immediately,
  • Mark 1:44 - saying to him, “See that you tell no one anything [about this]; but go, show yourself to the priest and offer for your purification what Moses commanded, as proof to them [that you are really healed].”
  • Mark 1:45 - But he went out and began to proclaim it freely and to spread the news [of his healing], to such an extent that Jesus could no longer openly enter a city [where He was known], but stayed out in the unpopulated places; yet people were still coming to Him from everywhere.
  • 1 Corinthians 14:25 - the secrets of his heart are laid bare. And so, falling on his face, he will worship God, declaring that God is really among you.
  • Matthew 28:17 - And when they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted [that it was really He].
  • Mark 9:22 - The demon has often thrown him both into fire and into water, intending to kill him. But if You can do anything, take pity on us and help us!”

  • Luke 5:12 - While Jesus was in one of the cities, there came a man covered with [an advanced case of] leprosy; and when he saw Jesus, he fell on his face and begged Him, saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean and well.”
  • Luke 5:13 - And Jesus reached out His hand and touched him, saying, “I am willing; be cleansed.” And immediately the leprosy left him.
  • Luke 5:14 - Jesus ordered him to tell no one [that he might happen to meet], “But go and show yourself to the priest, and make an offering for your purification, just as Moses commanded, as a testimony (witness) to them [that this is a work of Messiah].”
  • Matthew 15:25 - But she came and began to kneel down before Him, saying, “Lord, help me!”
  • Luke 17:12 - As He entered a village, He was met by ten lepers who stood at a distance;
  • Luke 17:13 - and they raised their voices and called out, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!”
  • Luke 17:14 - When He saw them, He said to them, “Go and show yourselves to the priests.” And as they went, they were [miraculously] healed and made clean.
  • Luke 17:15 - One of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, glorifying and praising and honoring God with a loud voice;
  • Luke 17:16 - and he lay face downward at Jesus’ feet, thanking Him [over and over]. He was a Samaritan.
  • Luke 17:17 - Then Jesus asked, “Were not ten [of you] cleansed? Where are the [other] nine?
  • Luke 17:18 - Was there no one found to return and to give thanks and praise to God, except this foreigner?”
  • Luke 17:19 - Jesus said to him, “Get up and go [on your way]. Your faith [your personal trust in Me and your confidence in God’s power] has restored you to health.”
  • Acts 10:25 - When Peter arrived, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet and worshiped him.
  • Matthew 18:26 - So the slave fell on his knees and begged him, saying, ‘Have patience with me and I will repay you everything.’
