Luke 21:5 - Some of his disciples began talking about the majestic stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said,
Luke 21:6 - “The time is coming when all these things will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”

Luke 21:13 - But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me.
Luke 21:14 - So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you,
Luke 21:15 - for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!
Luke 21:16 - Even those closest to you—your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends—will betray you. They will even kill some of you.
Luke 21:17 - And everyone will hate you because you are my followers.
Luke 21:18 - But not a hair of your head will perish!
Luke 21:19 - By standing firm, you will win your souls.
Luke 21:20 - “And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived.
Luke 21:21 - Then those in Judea must flee to the hills. Those in Jerusalem must get out, and those out in the country should not return to the city.
Luke 21:22 - For those will be days of God’s vengeance, and the prophetic words of the Scriptures will be fulfilled.
Luke 21:23 - How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. For there will be disaster in the land and great anger against this people.
Luke 21:24 - They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end.
Luke 21:25 - “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides.
Luke 21:26 - People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Luke 21:27 - Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 - So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”
Luke 21:29 - Then he gave them this illustration: “Notice the fig tree, or any other tree.
Luke 21:30 - When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near.
Luke 21:31 - In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.
Luke 21:32 - I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place.
Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
Luke 21:34 - “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware,
Luke 21:35 - like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth.
Luke 21:36 - Keep alert at all times. And pray that you might be strong enough to escape these coming horrors and stand before the Son of Man.”
Matthew 24:1 - As Jesus was leaving the Temple grounds, his disciples pointed out to him the various Temple buildings.
Matthew 24:2 - But he responded, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”
Matthew 24:3 - Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world? ”
Matthew 24:4 - Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you,
Matthew 24:5 - for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.
Matthew 24:6 - And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.
Matthew 24:7 - Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.
Matthew 24:8 - But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.
Matthew 24:9 - “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.
Matthew 24:10 - And many will turn away from me and betray and hate each other.
Matthew 24:11 - And many false prophets will appear and will deceive many people.
Matthew 24:12 - Sin will be rampant everywhere, and the love of many will grow cold.
Matthew 24:13 - But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Matthew 24:14 - And the Good News about the Kingdom will be preached throughout the whole world, so that all nations will hear it; and then the end will come.
Matthew 24:15 - “The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about—the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.” (Reader, pay attention!)
Matthew 24:16 - “Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.
Matthew 24:17 - A person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack.
Matthew 24:18 - A person out in the field must not return even to get a coat.
Matthew 24:19 - How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days.
Matthew 24:20 - And pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
Matthew 24:21 - For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again.
Matthew 24:22 - In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.
Matthew 24:23 - “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it.
Matthew 24:24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
Matthew 24:25 - See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.
Matthew 24:26 - “So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it!
Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 24:28 - Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.
Matthew 24:29 - “Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Matthew 24:30 - And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:32 - “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.
Matthew 24:33 - In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.

Luke 21:5 - Some of his disciples began talking about the majestic stonework of the Temple and the memorial decorations on the walls. But Jesus said,
Luke 21:6 - “The time is coming when all these things will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”
Luke 21:7 - “Teacher,” they asked, “when will all this happen? What sign will show us that these things are about to take place?”
Luke 21:8 - He replied, “Don’t let anyone mislead you, for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and saying, ‘The time has come!’ But don’t believe them.
Luke 21:9 - And when you hear of wars and insurrections, don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place first, but the end won’t follow immediately.”
Luke 21:10 - Then he added, “Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.
Luke 21:11 - There will be great earthquakes, and there will be famines and plagues in many lands, and there will be terrifying things and great miraculous signs from heaven.
Luke 21:12 - “But before all this occurs, there will be a time of great persecution. You will be dragged into synagogues and prisons, and you will stand trial before kings and governors because you are my followers.
Luke 21:13 - But this will be your opportunity to tell them about me.
Luke 21:14 - So don’t worry in advance about how to answer the charges against you,
Luke 21:15 - for I will give you the right words and such wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to reply or refute you!
Luke 21:16 - Even those closest to you—your parents, brothers, relatives, and friends—will betray you. They will even kill some of you.

Luke 21:18 - But not a hair of your head will perish!
Luke 21:19 - By standing firm, you will win your souls.
Luke 21:20 - “And when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then you will know that the time of its destruction has arrived.
Luke 21:21 - Then those in Judea must flee to the hills. Those in Jerusalem must get out, and those out in the country should not return to the city.
Luke 21:22 - For those will be days of God’s vengeance, and the prophetic words of the Scriptures will be fulfilled.
Luke 21:23 - How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days. For there will be disaster in the land and great anger against this people.
Luke 21:24 - They will be killed by the sword or sent away as captives to all the nations of the world. And Jerusalem will be trampled down by the Gentiles until the period of the Gentiles comes to an end.
Luke 21:25 - “And there will be strange signs in the sun, moon, and stars. And here on earth the nations will be in turmoil, perplexed by the roaring seas and strange tides.
Luke 21:26 - People will be terrified at what they see coming upon the earth, for the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Luke 21:27 - Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory.
Luke 21:28 - So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”
Luke 21:29 - Then he gave them this illustration: “Notice the fig tree, or any other tree.
Luke 21:30 - When the leaves come out, you know without being told that summer is near.
Luke 21:31 - In the same way, when you see all these things taking place, you can know that the Kingdom of God is near.
Luke 21:32 - I tell you the truth, this generation will not pass from the scene until all these things have taken place.
Luke 21:33 - Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words will never disappear.
Luke 21:34 - “Watch out! Don’t let your hearts be dulled by carousing and drunkenness, and by the worries of this life. Don’t let that day catch you unaware,
Luke 21:35 - like a trap. For that day will come upon everyone living on the earth.

Matthew 24:1 - As Jesus was leaving the Temple grounds, his disciples pointed out to him the various Temple buildings.
Matthew 24:2 - But he responded, “Do you see all these buildings? I tell you the truth, they will be completely demolished. Not one stone will be left on top of another!”
Matthew 24:3 - Later, Jesus sat on the Mount of Olives. His disciples came to him privately and said, “Tell us, when will all this happen? What sign will signal your return and the end of the world? ”
Matthew 24:4 - Jesus told them, “Don’t let anyone mislead you,
Matthew 24:5 - for many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah.’ They will deceive many.
Matthew 24:6 - And you will hear of wars and threats of wars, but don’t panic. Yes, these things must take place, but the end won’t follow immediately.
Matthew 24:7 - Nation will go to war against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in many parts of the world.
Matthew 24:8 - But all this is only the first of the birth pains, with more to come.
Matthew 24:9 - “Then you will be arrested, persecuted, and killed. You will be hated all over the world because you are my followers.

Matthew 24:15 - “The day is coming when you will see what Daniel the prophet spoke about—the sacrilegious object that causes desecration standing in the Holy Place.” (Reader, pay attention!)
Matthew 24:16 - “Then those in Judea must flee to the hills.
Matthew 24:17 - A person out on the deck of a roof must not go down into the house to pack.
Matthew 24:18 - A person out in the field must not return even to get a coat.
Matthew 24:19 - How terrible it will be for pregnant women and for nursing mothers in those days.
Matthew 24:20 - And pray that your flight will not be in winter or on the Sabbath.
Matthew 24:21 - For there will be greater anguish than at any time since the world began. And it will never be so great again.
Matthew 24:22 - In fact, unless that time of calamity is shortened, not a single person will survive. But it will be shortened for the sake of God’s chosen ones.
Matthew 24:23 - “Then if anyone tells you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah,’ or ‘There he is,’ don’t believe it.
Matthew 24:24 - For false messiahs and false prophets will rise up and perform great signs and wonders so as to deceive, if possible, even God’s chosen ones.
Matthew 24:25 - See, I have warned you about this ahead of time.
Matthew 24:26 - “So if someone tells you, ‘Look, the Messiah is out in the desert,’ don’t bother to go and look. Or, ‘Look, he is hiding here,’ don’t believe it!
Matthew 24:27 - For as the lightning flashes in the east and shines to the west, so it will be when the Son of Man comes.
Matthew 24:28 - Just as the gathering of vultures shows there is a carcass nearby, so these signs indicate that the end is near.
Matthew 24:29 - “Immediately after the anguish of those days, the sun will be darkened, the moon will give no light, the stars will fall from the sky, and the powers in the heavens will be shaken.
Matthew 24:30 - And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:31 - And he will send out his angels with the mighty blast of a trumpet, and they will gather his chosen ones from all over the world —from the farthest ends of the earth and heaven.
Matthew 24:32 - “Now learn a lesson from the fig tree. When its branches bud and its leaves begin to sprout, you know that summer is near.
Matthew 24:33 - In the same way, when you see all these things, you can know his return is very near, right at the door.

Matthew 24:42 - “So you, too, must keep watch! For you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.
Matthew 24:43 - Understand this: If a homeowner knew exactly when a burglar was coming, he would keep watch and not permit his house to be broken into.
Matthew 24:44 - You also must be ready all the time, for the Son of Man will come when least expected.
Matthew 24:45 - “A faithful, sensible servant is one to whom the master can give the responsibility of managing his other household servants and feeding them.
Matthew 24:46 - If the master returns and finds that the servant has done a good job, there will be a reward.
Matthew 24:47 - I tell you the truth, the master will put that servant in charge of all he owns.
Matthew 24:48 - But what if the servant is evil and thinks, ‘My master won’t be back for a while,’
Matthew 24:49 - and he begins beating the other servants, partying, and getting drunk?
Matthew 24:50 - The master will return unannounced and unexpected,
Matthew 24:51 - and he will cut the servant to pieces and assign him a place with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
Ezekiel 7:20 - They were proud of their beautiful jewelry and used it to make detestable idols and vile images. Therefore, I will make all their wealth disgusting to them.
Ezekiel 7:21 - I will give it as plunder to foreigners, to the most wicked of nations, and they will defile it.
Ezekiel 7:22 - I will turn my eyes from them as these robbers invade and defile my treasured land.
Ezekiel 8:6 - “Son of man,” he said, “do you see what they are doing? Do you see the detestable sins the people of Israel are committing to drive me from my Temple? But come, and you will see even more detestable sins than these!”
