Revelation 16:8 - Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire.
Revelation 16:9 - Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.

Isaiah 63:1 - Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength? “It is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation! It is I, the Lord, who has the power to save!”

Isaiah 34:6 - The sword of the Lord is drenched with blood and covered with fat— with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of rams prepared for sacrifice. Yes, the Lord will offer a sacrifice in the city of Bozrah. He will make a mighty slaughter in Edom.
Isaiah 34:7 - Even men as strong as wild oxen will die— the young men alongside the veterans. The land will be soaked with blood and the soil enriched with fat.
Isaiah 34:8 - For it is the day of the Lord’s revenge, the year when Edom will be paid back for all it did to Israel.
Isaiah 34:9 - The streams of Edom will be filled with burning pitch, and the ground will be covered with fire.
Isaiah 34:10 - This judgment on Edom will never end; the smoke of its burning will rise forever. The land will lie deserted from generation to generation. No one will live there anymore.

Revelation 6:16 - And they cried to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb.
Revelation 6:17 - For the great day of their wrath has come, and who is able to survive?”
Daniel 8:25 - He will be a master of deception and will become arrogant; he will destroy many without warning. He will even take on the Prince of princes in battle, but he will be broken, though not by human power.
Revelation 11:2 - But do not measure the outer courtyard, for it has been turned over to the nations. They will trample the holy city for 42 months.
Zechariah 14:2 - I will gather all the nations to fight against Jerusalem. The city will be taken, the houses looted, and the women raped. Half the population will be taken into captivity, and the rest will be left among the ruins of the city.
Zechariah 14:3 - Then the Lord will go out to fight against those nations, as he has fought in times past.
Revelation 17:12 - The ten horns of the beast are ten kings who have not yet risen to power. They will be appointed to their kingdoms for one brief moment to reign with the beast.
Revelation 17:13 - They will all agree to give him their power and authority.
Revelation 17:14 - Together they will go to war against the Lamb, but the Lamb will defeat them because he is Lord of all lords and King of all kings. And his called and chosen and faithful ones will be with him.”
Revelation 17:15 - Then the angel said to me, “The waters where the prostitute is ruling represent masses of people of every nation and language.
Revelation 18:16 - “How terrible, how terrible for that great city! She was clothed in finest purple and scarlet linens, decked out with gold and precious stones and pearls!
Revelation 18:17 - In a single moment all the wealth of the city is gone!” And all the captains of the merchant ships and their passengers and sailors and crews will stand at a distance.
Revelation 18:18 - They will cry out as they watch the smoke ascend, and they will say, “Where is there another city as great as this?”
Revelation 18:19 - And they will weep and throw dust on their heads to show their grief. And they will cry out, “How terrible, how terrible for that great city! The shipowners became wealthy by transporting her great wealth on the seas. In a single moment it is all gone.”
Revelation 18:20 - Rejoice over her fate, O heaven and people of God and apostles and prophets! For at last God has judged her for your sakes.
Revelation 18:21 - Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a huge millstone. He threw it into the ocean and shouted, “Just like this, the great city Babylon will be thrown down with violence and will never be found again.
Revelation 18:22 - The sound of harps, singers, flutes, and trumpets will never be heard in you again. No craftsmen and no trades will ever be found in you again. The sound of the mill will never be heard in you again.
Revelation 18:23 - The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The happy voices of brides and grooms will never be heard in you again. For your merchants were the greatest in the world, and you deceived the nations with your sorceries.
Revelation 18:24 - In your streets flowed the blood of the prophets and of God’s holy people and the blood of people slaughtered all over the world.”
Revelation 19:19 - Then I saw the beast and the kings of the world and their armies gathered together to fight against the one sitting on the horse and his army.
Revelation 19:20 - And the beast was captured, and with him the false prophet who did mighty miracles on behalf of the beast—miracles that deceived all who had accepted the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue. Both the beast and his false prophet were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.
Revelation 19:21 - Their entire army was killed by the sharp sword that came from the mouth of the one riding the white horse. And the vultures all gorged themselves on the dead bodies.
Revelation 16:1 - Then I heard a mighty voice from the Temple say to the seven angels, “Go your ways and pour out on the earth the seven bowls containing God’s wrath.”
Revelation 16:2 - So the first angel left the Temple and poured out his bowl on the earth, and horrible, malignant sores broke out on everyone who had the mark of the beast and who worshiped his statue.
Revelation 16:3 - Then the second angel poured out his bowl on the sea, and it became like the blood of a corpse. And everything in the sea died.
Revelation 16:4 - Then the third angel poured out his bowl on the rivers and springs, and they became blood.
Revelation 16:5 - And I heard the angel who had authority over all water saying, “You are just, O Holy One, who is and who always was, because you have sent these judgments.
Revelation 16:6 - Since they shed the blood of your holy people and your prophets, you have given them blood to drink. It is their just reward.”
Revelation 16:7 - And I heard a voice from the altar, saying, “Yes, O Lord God, the Almighty, your judgments are true and just.”
Revelation 16:8 - Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, causing it to scorch everyone with its fire.
Revelation 16:9 - Everyone was burned by this blast of heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had control over all these plagues. They did not repent of their sins and turn to God and give him glory.
Revelation 16:10 - Then the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and his kingdom was plunged into darkness. His subjects ground their teeth in anguish,
Revelation 16:11 - and they cursed the God of heaven for their pains and sores. But they did not repent of their evil deeds and turn to God.
Revelation 16:12 - Then the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great Euphrates River, and it dried up so that the kings from the east could march their armies toward the west without hindrance.
Revelation 16:13 - And I saw three evil spirits that looked like frogs leap from the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
Revelation 16:14 - They are demonic spirits who work miracles and go out to all the rulers of the world to gather them for battle against the Lord on that great judgment day of God the Almighty.
Revelation 16:15 - “Look, I will come as unexpectedly as a thief! Blessed are all who are watching for me, who keep their clothing ready so they will not have to walk around naked and ashamed.”
Revelation 16:16 - And the demonic spirits gathered all the rulers and their armies to a place with the Hebrew name Armageddon.
Revelation 16:17 - Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air. And a mighty shout came from the throne in the Temple, saying, “It is finished!”
Revelation 16:18 - Then the thunder crashed and rolled, and lightning flashed. And a great earthquake struck—the worst since people were placed on the earth.
Revelation 16:19 - The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon’s sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath.
Revelation 16:20 - And every island disappeared, and all the mountains were leveled.
Revelation 16:21 - There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing as much as seventy-five pounds fell from the sky onto the people below. They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm.
Revelation 19:15 - From his mouth came a sharp sword to strike down the nations. He will rule them with an iron rod. He will release the fierce wrath of God, the Almighty, like juice flowing from a winepress.
Psalms 110:5 - The Lord stands at your right hand to protect you. He will strike down many kings when his anger erupts.
Micah 7:15 - “Yes,” says the Lord, “I will do mighty miracles for you, like those I did when I rescued you from slavery in Egypt.”
Micah 7:16 - All the nations of the world will stand amazed at what the Lord will do for you. They will be embarrassed at their feeble power. They will cover their mouths in silent awe, deaf to everything around them.
Micah 7:17 - Like snakes crawling from their holes, they will come out to meet the Lord our God. They will fear him greatly, trembling in terror at his presence.
Revelation 14:10 - must drink the wine of God’s anger. It has been poured full strength into God’s cup of wrath. And they will be tormented with fire and burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and the Lamb.
Revelation 15:1 - Then I saw in heaven another marvelous event of great significance. Seven angels were holding the seven last plagues, which would bring God’s wrath to completion.
Isaiah 63:1 - Who is this who comes from Edom, from the city of Bozrah, with his clothing stained red? Who is this in royal robes, marching in his great strength? “It is I, the Lord, announcing your salvation! It is I, the Lord, who has the power to save!”
Isaiah 63:2 - Why are your clothes so red, as if you have been treading out grapes?
Isaiah 63:3 - “I have been treading the winepress alone; no one was there to help me. In my anger I have trampled my enemies as if they were grapes. In my fury I have trampled my foes. Their blood has stained my clothes.
Isaiah 63:4 - For the time has come for me to avenge my people, to ransom them from their oppressors.
Isaiah 63:5 - I was amazed to see that no one intervened to help the oppressed. So I myself stepped in to save them with my strong arm, and my wrath sustained me.
Isaiah 63:6 - I crushed the nations in my anger and made them stagger and fall to the ground, spilling their blood upon the earth.”
Ecclesiastes 12:13 - That’s the whole story. Here now is my final conclusion: Fear God and obey his commands, for this is everyone’s duty.
Daniel 7:9 - I watched as thrones were put in place and the Ancient One sat down to judge. His clothing was as white as snow, his hair like purest wool. He sat on a fiery throne with wheels of blazing fire,
Daniel 7:10 - and a river of fire was pouring out, flowing from his presence. Millions of angels ministered to him; many millions stood to attend him. Then the court began its session, and the books were opened.
Hebrews 11:25 - He chose to share the oppression of God’s people instead of enjoying the fleeting pleasures of sin.
Hebrews 11:26 - He thought it was better to suffer for the sake of Christ than to own the treasures of Egypt, for he was looking ahead to his great reward.
Ecclesiastes 8:12 - But even though a person sins a hundred times and still lives a long time, I know that those who fear God will be better off.
Isaiah 34:1 - Come here and listen, O nations of the earth. Let the world and everything in it hear my words.
Isaiah 34:2 - For the Lord is enraged against the nations. His fury is against all their armies. He will completely destroy them, dooming them to slaughter.
Isaiah 34:3 - Their dead will be left unburied, and the stench of rotting bodies will fill the land. The mountains will flow with their blood.
Isaiah 34:4 - The heavens above will melt away and disappear like a rolled-up scroll. The stars will fall from the sky like withered leaves from a grapevine, or shriveled figs from a fig tree.
Isaiah 34:5 - And when my sword has finished its work in the heavens, it will fall upon Edom, the nation I have marked for destruction.
Isaiah 34:6 - The sword of the Lord is drenched with blood and covered with fat— with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of rams prepared for sacrifice. Yes, the Lord will offer a sacrifice in the city of Bozrah. He will make a mighty slaughter in Edom.
Isaiah 34:7 - Even men as strong as wild oxen will die— the young men alongside the veterans. The land will be soaked with blood and the soil enriched with fat.
Isaiah 34:8 - For it is the day of the Lord’s revenge, the year when Edom will be paid back for all it did to Israel.
Isaiah 34:9 - The streams of Edom will be filled with burning pitch, and the ground will be covered with fire.
Isaiah 34:10 - This judgment on Edom will never end; the smoke of its burning will rise forever. The land will lie deserted from generation to generation. No one will live there anymore.
Hebrews 9:27 - And just as each person is destined to die once and after that comes judgment,
Psalms 147:11 - No, the Lord’s delight is in those who fear him, those who put their hope in his unfailing love.
Psalms 85:9 - Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so our land will be filled with his glory.
Joel 3:9 - Say to the nations far and wide: “Get ready for war! Call out your best warriors. Let all your fighting men advance for the attack.
Joel 3:10 - Hammer your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears. Train even your weaklings to be warriors.
Joel 3:11 - Come quickly, all you nations everywhere. Gather together in the valley.” And now, O Lord, call out your warriors!
Joel 3:12 - “Let the nations be called to arms. Let them march to the valley of Jehoshaphat. There I, the Lord, will sit to pronounce judgment on them all.
Joel 3:13 - Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, tread the grapes, for the winepress is full. The storage vats are overflowing with the wickedness of these people.”
Joel 3:14 - Thousands upon thousands are waiting in the valley of decision. There the day of the Lord will soon arrive.
Psalms 2:5 - Then in anger he rebukes them, terrifying them with his fierce fury.
Revelation 20:4 - Then I saw thrones, and the people sitting on them had been given the authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for their testimony about Jesus and for proclaiming the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his statue, nor accepted his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They all came to life again, and they reigned with Christ for a thousand years.
Revelation 20:5 - This is the first resurrection. (The rest of the dead did not come back to life until the thousand years had ended.)
Luke 1:50 - He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him.
Revelation 20:15 - And anyone whose name was not found recorded in the Book of Life was thrown into the lake of fire.
2 Thessalonians 1:5 - And God will use this persecution to show his justice and to make you worthy of his Kingdom, for which you are suffering.
2 Thessalonians 1:6 - In his justice he will pay back those who persecute you.
2 Thessalonians 1:7 - And God will provide rest for you who are being persecuted and also for us when the Lord Jesus appears from heaven. He will come with his mighty angels,
Isaiah 26:19 - But those who die in the Lord will live; their bodies will rise again! Those who sleep in the earth will rise up and sing for joy! For your life-giving light will fall like dew on your people in the place of the dead!
Isaiah 26:20 - Go home, my people, and lock your doors! Hide yourselves for a little while until the Lord’s anger has passed.
Isaiah 26:21 - Look! The Lord is coming from heaven to punish the people of the earth for their sins. The earth will no longer hide those who have been killed. They will be brought out for all to see.
Revelation 22:12 - “Look, I am coming soon, bringing my reward with me to repay all people according to their deeds.
Psalms 2:1 - Why are the nations so angry? Why do they waste their time with futile plans?
Psalms 2:2 - The kings of the earth prepare for battle; the rulers plot together against the Lord and against his anointed one.
Psalms 2:3 - “Let us break their chains,” they cry, “and free ourselves from slavery to God.”
Psalms 115:13 - He will bless those who fear the Lord, both great and lowly.
Psalms 115:14 - May the Lord richly bless both you and your children.
Revelation 15:7 - Then one of the four living beings handed each of the seven angels a gold bowl filled with the wrath of God, who lives forever and ever.
Matthew 5:12 - Be happy about it! Be very glad! For a great reward awaits you in heaven. And remember, the ancient prophets were persecuted in the same way.
Psalms 103:11 - For his unfailing love toward those who fear him is as great as the height of the heavens above the earth.
Revelation 6:10 - They shouted to the Lord and said, “O Sovereign Lord, holy and true, how long before you judge the people who belong to this world and avenge our blood for what they have done to us?”
Revelation 6:11 - Then a white robe was given to each of them. And they were told to rest a little longer until the full number of their brothers and sisters —their fellow servants of Jesus who were to be martyred—had joined them.
Revelation 13:10 - Anyone who is destined for prison will be taken to prison. Anyone destined to die by the sword will die by the sword. This means that God’s holy people must endure persecution patiently and remain faithful.
Revelation 20:12 - I saw the dead, both great and small, standing before God’s throne. And the books were opened, including the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to what they had done, as recorded in the books.
Revelation 19:5 - And from the throne came a voice that said, “Praise our God, all his servants, all who fear him, from the least to the greatest.”
